Holiday rentals with lake access in Nagano

The owner was very kind, and it was very helpful to accommodate this request.It was a very good environment for travelers with dogs.I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.Thank you very much.

We had an amazing stay at Geoff and Aki’s place! They are incredibly caring hosts who made sure our trip was comfortable and unforgettable. They provided us with all the necessary information about the area and were always ready to help with visiting local attractions. The house itself was warm and cozy, with a breathtaking view from the window. At the end of February, there was a lot of snow, and the nearby ski resort was open – we could even walk there! Getting to the house by taxi from Nagano was easy, but traveling back without a car was a bit tricky. Fortunately, Geoff was very kind and helped us with transportation when needed. We truly appreciate their hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Nagano!

Great stay overall. The owner was very responsive, nice and accommodating. The place is clean and nice. The location may be a bit challenging without vehicles but most POI can ba accessed walking or public transport.

Kai picked us up from the station & even drove with us to shop. Arrived at his place, we felt right at home & were warmly welcomed. We had two wonderful days at Kai's place. He is an incredibly great & nice host & the morning box training is really great. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful & you can relax from the city stress. If I'm back in Japan, I'm always happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at the place. The house was cute and fulled of ducks I love it so much. Seiichi and Keiko san were very kind hosts. They recommend us good places, took care of us and we felt like home. The house was big, very well equipped We had all we needed ! The host was kind and responsive! We enjoyed the stay

The most magical place I've ever been. The lakefront house has a spectacular view. It's beautifully decorated, and the facilities are like new. The host was very attentive to all my questions, even when there was a situation beyond his control where he tried his best to resolve it. He showed genuine interest in resolving it and making amends. It's highly recommended for long stays. Keep in mind that there's no supermarket nearby, but there is a 7/11 a five-minute walk away. A very good sauna is located 10 minutes away. I would come back a thousand times.

It was very helpful that they prepared all the charcoal and fire in the afternoon. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the view from the window was even better than the photos. The surroundings were quiet and we had a very comfortable time.

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

It was comfortable anyway. Unfortunately it was raining, but we had a relaxing time indoors or on the terrace I will use it again

We booked for only 1 night at first, but enjoyed the place so much we had to extend for another night! The place is just like as described. Because the furniture, kitchenware and amenities are from Muji, it made everything 100 times cooler. Peaceful and beautiful nature surrounding the house. We absolutely enjoyed the campfire on the patio!

The setting of the house is relaxing. We find ourselves alone in the middle of the forest. The terrace is very nice as well as the space to make the barbecue. We highly recommend if you want to enjoy the surroundings of Chikuma and its nature.
