Loved the location. Peaceful. Great to sit on the patio surrounded by the trees and grass with lots of birds chirping. Close to a park with trails. About a 20-30 min walk from train station. Easy checkin. Host very responsive. The Airbnb inside had what you needed. I would describe it more as basic than luxury. Kitchen very simple. Great shower and comfortable bed. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The hosts are incredibly friendly, always smiling and very helpful. Communication was smooth and easy, and both check-in and check-out went flawlessly. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was also spotlessly clean. If I ever return to this area, I would definitely choose to stay with Tanja and Sigrid in their place again. Highly recommended!

I had a very pleasant stay in the cozy and clean apartment at Annette and Hannes, where I did not lack any amenities. The hosts are very friendly and also gave me a few tips about the area and possible excursion destinations. The proximity to the fair is ideal; thanks to local transport in the immediate vicinity, you can get anywhere quickly. Highly recommended!

A practical accommodation in a location close to the city yet green, with very good, useful facilities for short and longer stays. During the day on weekdays, the area is more lively, in the evening and on weekends, it is very quiet. Shopping, gastronomy and public transport are plentiful nearby. Free parking available in the area, very close or a little further away is a matter of luck ;-) Absolutely recommended, happy to come again!

I was looking for a nice place for a night on my long journey to the sea, where my dog was also welcome. The family welcomed us very warmly to their paradise. The large property is very well maintained. I was able to cook my dinner in the garden kitchen. My dog was allowed to run free in the beautiful garden and the family's dog is calm and sweet. The bed was wonderfully cuddly and comfortable. In the morning, many birds were chirping and the drinks bar and the warm shower allowed me to start the day off great. I am happy and grateful to have been a guest with them. Many thanks for everything!

i booked this apartment one night together with a girlfriend with visual impairment. It meets all expectations, is clear, nice and clean. The owners are warm and helpful and think along. For my (blind) girlfriend, the apartment was clear and she was therefore able to orient herself well. In short, a fantastic experience. Looking for a downside that would be the lack of a stove. (had we not registered, we couldn't bake our eggs).

Maik is an extremely attentive and friendly host. He always answered our questions very helpfully within a very short time. The house is very quiet and in the countryside, it is very easy to reach from A57 and A40 and you can park the car on the property directly in front of the front door - very convenient also for loading/unloading luggage. Everything is at ground level and you have plenty of space everywhere, even in the bathroom, and there is also a large wardrobe in the bedroom. We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back :-)

The stay in the apartment "The Sky" was very nice. Everything was perfect and sufficient for 2 people. Everything necessary was provided to us, the kitchen is super equipped, there is everything necessary. In addition, we were greeted nicely by the host, he always answered immediately and gave us local tips. In addition, the hosts were totally flexible and offered us to check out later than agreed. The location of the house is great. When you sit at the dining table, you can look perfectly over Detmold, as the house is located on a hill. The city is within walking distance and very easy to reach. In the apartment, we found information about the best sights and hiking trails. The bathroom is also very chic. Although a bit too many decorative objects distract from the important part of the apartment, we enjoyed the stay in Detmold. We would love to come back and highly recommend this accommodation.

The property is very easily accessible by bike or car! A supermarket or Hörstel train station are also minutes away. If you want to take a small evening walk, the nearby witch cave in the forest is suitable as a destination, which can be reached by foot in a few minutes. The place itself matches the photos, was very clean, and the hosts are very nice and helpful 😊 Definitely a good place to rest!

What a wonderful stay. A warm welcome by Madeleine and Rob. The surrounding area offers many possibilities for hiking and cycling. In short, I absolutely love to come back here for a few nice relaxing days.

We had a lovely stay here and really enjoyed the peaceful area. I would recommend staying here if you want to enjoy nature but it’s also only a short travel from the city.

It was a perfect house with everything, the pool, nature, the lake view was perfect. Although they lived upstairs, it was nice that they felt alone as if they were not there. Thank you also for the dessert served. Hope to see you again as soon as possible.
