Riverwood cottage is an experience to replenish your soul. The cottage layout is perfection. The entrance welcomes you into a kitchen with whimsical accents of retro turquoise appliances. The kitchen is very functional for any family chef. The host has been generous and supplied spices to support most meals. There is a classic claw foot tub in the bathroom. The beds are so comfortable you melt into them. TV has easy access to your personal apps. There is a gas fireplace to cuddle up in front of. The very private outside includes an expensive deck with a hot tub canopied by Redwood trees. Then there is the yard, magical with small bridges that take you down to river's edge. Wildlife abounds everywhere! Sangeeta, the host is kind, patient, generous and communicative. My limited time at home was incredible. This cottage is my favorite Airbnb stay ever. Our family truly enjoyed this redwood-nestled cabin. The private backyard was perfect for morning coffee while our toddler and dog explored. Our pup loved running around the secure yard. Having two living rooms gave us good space for both playtime and relaxation. All necessary amenities were provided, which made traveling with a toddler and pet much easier. The Scandinavian design elements throughout were beautiful and surprisingly practical. Just minutes from Guerneville restaurants, the location was ideal. We look forward to returning!

Photos did not do this place justice. The deck was such a nice surprise with so many small moments & touches tucked away to discover. As for the place itself, pitch perfect for a family and absolutely the most fully stocked kitchen I've ever encountered in an airbnb rental. I had absolutely zero reason to interact with the host because their directions were so clear, helpful, and concise! After experiencing a string of extremely disappointing rentals, this location was a perfect reminder of airbnb at it's best. Will definitely put this on the short list for return visits!

Katrina’s place was a lovely, serene environment
