Cabin holiday rentals in Monte Rio

Came into town to celebrate our friend’s upcoming nuptials and this place did not disappoint. It is as inviting and beautiful as the photos suggest and the glorious Redwoods that surround the deck take you into instant ease and relaxation. So close to downtown bars and restaurants and Johnson’s Beach. We’ll be staying here again!

We ended our honeymoon trip at Matt’s cabin, and we walked in thinking wow, this place is beautiful and our vision for our sonoma honeymoon experience. Yes, for those unfamiliar with California hills, the driving to the place was a little tricky at first but this was well communicated and nothing to note as a negative. After the first time driving to the cabin, we felt comfortable going in and out. So, if that’s a worry of yours, don’t let it be! The space is beautiful, the beds are cozy, the hot tub is fantastic and ending the night on the comfy couch with the projector screen was everything. Followed by a good nights rest (under a sky light with beautiful stars) to a morning with coffee and a record player. Matt was a great host with clear instructions, and local recommendations. He also checked in during the stay via messenger to make sure all was well. The cabin was within distance to so many restaurants, wineries, hiking trails and activities. We can’t wait to someday stay again!

I don’t have a lot of experience with Airbnb, this is only the second time I’ve ever had to use this service and I’m so thankful that I found this gem! It was so nice to have a private area and not have to worry about our kids being too loud for people. We’re very thankful that Austin lent us this beautiful space and of course for his amazing neighbor Carl as well!

Wow, what a great stay. We were in town for a wedding that was within walking distance from the house. The house was as described in the listing, and Jennifer was great with responding to my questions before we checked in. The back patio was well worth the stay, and the hot tub was a great spot to wind down after the wedding. We will book here again.

The Treehouse was exactly what we needed. A peaceful retreat in a beautiful location. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hot tub was a real treat! I appreciated all of the cute labels throughout the home that helped us locate items and replace them in the correct spots. I would definitely return. Thank you!

Very lovely spot, charming little cottage with all the details just right. Cozy bed, amazingly stocked kitchen, hooks everywhere to hang clothing & towels, etc. Host was very helpful and friendly, we felt right at home.

We had a very peaceful stay at Alexandra's. The cabin is bright and cheery, thoughtfully and tastefully appointed. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable, with the exception of one unseasonably hot day (in the 90s), when the fans were not enough to keep us cool. It cooled off at night though, and I imagine temperatures are cooler most of the time. Overall, a great place to stay while exploring Sonoma.

We only stayed for one night but it was perfect for what we needed! It was very comfortable, quiet, and easy to access. We loved being able to use the grill and have a nice dinner on the private patio!

This sweet home was everything I was looking for and more. The location is incredible, so close to hiking trails, the coast, cute towns, and great restaurants. Absolutely loved how quiet and peaceful the home was a long with the beautiful natural lighting and decor. We felt right at home and wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend Megan's home to all!

Sue was great and proactive in her communication which made our stay very easy. We were able to find the place easy thanks to her instructions and she showed flexibility throughout as well.

The cava cabana had exactly what I needed for a simple stay for me and my dog , facing the river and the beach was perfect. Very peaceful, quiet and clean, and walkable to all things in downtown guerneville. Chris was always present if you need something , will be back !

Nestled in nature and far from the bustle of everyday life, it offered exactly the kind of calm we were looking for. The home was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing week. Our experience was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to truly unwind!

Easily one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed, Ana’s cabin is a true gem of a retreat: nestled back in the woods, steps from the creek. For the three days we were there, we didn’t see or hear another person. The garden is like something out of a fairytale, a little wild and incredibly beautiful and lush, with a new little nook or sitting area around every corner, and the sounds of running water in the background. After exploring the garden and creek all day, it was so cozy to curl up by the fire in the evening. Ana also made everything incredibly easy with proactive communication and clear instructions. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

This was a wonderful gem to stay at in Sebastopol. The backyard was gorgeous and we enjoyed many dinners outside. The space was very comfortable and located right next to an amazing bakery and coffee shop!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Chad's place. It exceeded our expectations! Chad is very responsive and welcoming. The house is very comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The hot tub was perfect - so relaxing! The view - beautiful! We brought our dogs with us on this trip, and they loved it too! The place is very dog friendly. The yard is fully enclosed so they could explore without us having to worry. Such a cool house with plenty to do, and very peaceful. The surrounding area is so much fun to explore too. There's a market close by, and the river is super close! I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here. We cannot wait to book another trip to Chad's place!

It was a nice place to get away for a weekend. The ambiance of the cottage was perfect for being out in the woods. It’s close by to a lot of good food places for breakfast, and the river which was great to hit in the afternoon.

The host ans co-host were very friendly and helpful. The house and the neighborhood are beautiful and clean. The view and the landscape are incredible. Only one thing to be aware of in advance for anyone with mobility issues: there are several steps to go up to the house, and the house sits on two floors connected through the outside stairs.

Peter was hands down the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had! He was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout our stay. This was our first trip with our baby, and Peter went out of his way to make sure everything was comfortable and stress-free for us. The place itself is amazing—beautiful, well-stocked, and had more than we could have ever needed. From the little details to the overall experience, everything was perfect. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Peter’s place to anyone. Hope to be back soon!

Charming, rustic / eclectic decor. We enjoyed decompression time in the sun room. Setting was very serene. Couch and bed were very comfortable. Host very responsive during communication. We stayed here with our dog after a long river day and really enjoyed the home. Would definitely come back.

This place is a wonderful retreat! We enjoyed the little creek and the beautiful redwoods. Perfect for disconnecting from the world and very kid friendly. Every detail was well thought out. We LOVED taking a shower inside of the Redwood tree! Highly recommend this place and Vicasa was very responsive!
