川端康成の小説「雪国」の舞台となった「国境の長いトンネルを超えると雪国だった」で有名なトンネルの出口の丘の上に建つ古い旅館を改築して、当時と変わらぬ、昔のままの日本間を提供致します。窓から眺める谷川岳連峰や温泉の街、湯沢町を眼下に眺めて、常夏の国バリのサンゴ礁の島から移り住んだインドネシア人家族がおもてなし致します。冬は日本でも有数なスキーリゾートとして春は山菜採り、夏はテニスや登山、秋は紅葉と四季を通じて楽しめます。日本三大岩場の一つ、谷川岳一ノ倉ロッククライミング登山口、土合駅の裏駅（トンネルを超えた次の駅）が土樽駅で古くから登山客が定宿とした旅館です。小説「雪国」の主人公、島村が下山の宿で駒子と出会った背景（もちろん小説のストーリーです）のおもむきの民泊です。 2022年、コロナ禍で名物オーナーが始めた一人遊びの物つくりが嵩じて、裏山に日本で初めての樹木上集合建築物としてのユニットツリーハウスが完成しました。　　樹木上の露天風呂やサウナは日本では、いや世界でも初の試みと注目を集めております。
