The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

A nice place to stay in a holiday park. To the reception 2 min walk, supermarket, swimming pool, mini golf etc also nearby. The house has a second fridge in the storage room. Unfortunately, the house is not very well insulated, but the heating works great. The fireplace makes the living room cozy. The kitchen is also well equipped. The beddings and towels must be picked up and paid at the reception. However, it and Sylvia refunded the amount immediately.

We had a very nice stay as a family in the very spacious house. The large living room was particularly nice, the kitchen offers everything you need. Jaap was very helpful, gave us tips and was very flexible with a late check-out. The area is wonderfully quiet and idyllic.

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

We were in the house as a family with two small children and it was well suited for that. The house is cozy and tastefully decorated, and also the equipment was good (children's travel cot, children's dishes, children's chairs, etc.). A highlight was the hot tub (video monitored). The meadow was freshly mowed and there was cozy garden furniture. If you asked about heating the hot tub, the hosts were immediately available to us via Airbnb message with their friendly help. One thing we would have to note were the ants on the first floor (ant bait expired since 2021) and a few dust mice in the upper bedrooms, which we were able to remove ourselves due to the existing vacuum cleaner. However, the bedding was invitingly fresh, and there were plenty of fresh towels (welded). Common kitchen equipment such as salt, pepper, coffee pods and baking paper were unfortunately not available. Overall, however, the quiet house was highly recommended.

Just a wonderful week behind us in this cottage. Wonderful surroundings by the water. Quite private in terms of neighbors, but quite a few boats that pass by. The teenagers enjoyed themselves with the canoe, the weather was really a gift this week. Super nice that there are screens for everything, slept wonderfully with windows open. Everything has been thought of, in terms of kitchen furnishings but also in terms of amenities such as washing machine, extra blankets, etc. Tip: if you are here, take the pound to the other side (bring cash) to explore the village but especially to sit by the water on the terrace. The only thing we regretted is that we actually wanted to rent a boat but were late with that. Furthermore, it is a wonderful environment where you can discover nature (all the feans) but also Burgum and Dokkum are recommended. In short: super successful vacation and nice cottage!

What an excellent house to stay. Very great surroundings, quiet and beautiful stargazing at nights. Close enough for travelling around Friesland and/or visiting the isles of Ameland/Schiermonnikoog. The house itself has all features you need. Great kitchen, very good beds and big badroom. Highly recommended for a stay.

We stayed in their lovely home with your two kids, we didn't have the best weather but still enjoyed our stay. The location is lovely and the home is spacious, clean and well kept. We used the bikes once to go shopping for a few little items when we didn't feel like taking the car and played some midget golf with the kids. We had a lovely stay.

We had a great time in Sneek and the accommodation was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practical. The terrace and the whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks on arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and did a small tour. All around beautiful!

Our stay in the beautiful holiday home was great! It had everything you need. Patricia responded quickly to messages. Thanks also for the flexible check-in and check-out :) It would have been good to know beforehand that two large towels were missing, then we would have brought some ourselves. Otherwise, everything is great and highly recommended!

We had a really very nice time. We really liked the cottage. The location is absolutely great and you only need 1-2 minutes to the train station, the ferry or the beach. The only small flaw is the temperature of the house on warm days. Since you sleep under the roof, it is really very warm - you should be prepared for this. Apart from that, the house was well equipped and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely come back!

A very friendly welcome in a beautiful quiet Frisian place. Living in a well-kept old Frisian house, close to the water, has I liked it very much. If you are looking for relaxation, you are in good hands in Grou.

A very stylish and tasteful old schoolhouse, equipped with everything you need. Very nice large kitchen, very well equipped. The area is quiet yet very well connected. In good weather, you can sit very nicely in the courtyard.

We had a great time at Parkzicht, the location certainly lives up to its name, a very nice idyllic view of a park from the living room. It is within walking distance of the centre of Leeuwarden, which is ideal. The house itself was taken care of to perfection and you feel right at home. We enjoyed!

We had a very relaxing stay with six plus dog. The location of the house is very quiet and really beautiful - several times we were lucky enough to admire an enchanting sunset over the lake. Within walking distance, we were several times at the small harbor and were able to relax there. Several small villages are easily accessible by bike, by car we were in various places of the IJsselmeer and in Sneek - all super cute! The house itself is spacious and optimally divided with a ground floor bedroom with its own bathroom but separate toilet that can be used by everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, although we would have liked a regular coffee machine in addition. The combination oven/microwave is super convenient. Big compliment too😉: Finally an apartment with enough hangers!

We had a wonderful stay in Dronrijp. The house is very comfortable for 8 guests. The kitchen is well equipped. We would have loved to take advantage of the outside terraces, but the weather didn't cooperate. Great location for participating in the Fiets Elfstedentocht. We stayed in the area for the first time and chose the place due to the beautiful place. We had a wonderful 5 days. There was everything you needed, everything was clean and you felt right at home. The location is absolutely fantastic, lots of privacy and you walked quickly to the beach and the city. We will definitely come again! Absolute heart recommendation.

The house are beautiful. It is very stylish and lovingly furnished and has a fantastic garden, with a wonderful view of the water and the field. We felt very comfortable. It was very clean and everything you need was available. The hosts are super friendly and very easy to reach. We will be happy to come back!
