Check in was a bit bumpy as after 730km drive I was surprised to have to call the caretaker to get the password for the key, I open the door & before me someone who was busy with cleaning, also the lady in the stairwell, who still sorted informative Fleyer, were Tim and his wife. This made me feel a little unsettled, but the days on it, in a great conversation, my confusion resolved. The house is located on a local street, the horse-drawn carriage and the Bimmelbahn pass by, occasionally private cars and some walking tourists. Since you can close the blinds electrically & the windows are well insulated, the plaster stones don't bother either. In a review I read that the kitchen chairs are too hard, I can confirm that a little uncomfortable for long game nights. The wifi password didn't match the description, Mr.Radke had a solution. We were very warmly welcomed by Ms. Lange and were able to feel right at home after an introduction to the special features of the apartment. It becomes clear that the maintenance and cleanliness of the accommodation are of great importance. The kitchen is really excellently equipped and otherwise everything you could ever need is in the apartment. The location is quiet and you can walk to the beach in no more than two minutes. The train station is also less than a 10-minute walk away and the bus runs in front of the house. There are shops in Ahlbeck - you can get here by bus within a few minutes, or you can walk. The apartment thus proved to be an ideal starting point for our activities. In the apartment, there is also a box available, with all kinds of information and programs, to suggest leisure activities. If we have any questions or “special requests,” the hosts Lange are quickly accessible and extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We were really happy to come back to this idyllic place in the evening. Nearby was the train station, so we also got from place to place with the public transport. This is how you imagine a holiday apartment. Where our expectations have been exceeded. The bathroom is also so beautiful and the shower the blasts. The kitchen and its amenities were first cream. Everything is so cozy and beautiful. Easy to feel good. Would book the apartment again at any time.

This apartment was one of my absolute favorite Airbnbs ever. The location along the monumental Karl-Marx-Allee on the eastern side of Berlin is both convenient (just a block away from two U-Bahn subway stops) and historically fascinating. The building itself — a showpiece of Stalinist architecture in the former DDR — is equally fascinating and evocative of a bygone era. And the apartment itself is a gem, with midcentury modern design, an excellent library, and even a superb grand piano. Anyone who might be interested in experiencing a taste of the former East Berlin should strongly consider staying here. Just outstanding.

We had a memorable weekend in Berlin. The accommodation corresponded in every way to what we were looking for: comfort, calm and space (there were 6 of us), and its location to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg neighborhoods day and night! After a day visiting the former concentration camp Sachsenhausen, we slept one night at Martina's place in this spacious accommodation with shops and restaurants within driving distance. It was wonderfully quiet and we slept well! Martina was very welcoming. Thank you very much for a great stay!

Great, spacious apartment and amazing hospitality! The location is a bit far from the center of Berlin, with the ride (by public transport) taking 30-40 minutes to Mitte. Still, certainly well worth it if you don’t mind the ride!

Beautiful apartment in a great location on Rügen. If you like it a little more relaxed, Baabe will love it. And an apartment with a cozy terrace near the beach is simply pure luxury.

We had a wonderful extended weekend at Dominik's place. This is very high-quality, at the same time cozy, the wonderful sauna is of course a highlight and for us the free entrance to the ahoi Therme was also a big hit. The proximity to Binz, various activities such as the treetop trail and Karl's strawberry farm, the playground and the nice restaurants right next door completed our perfect relaxing weekend. Dominik was always easily accessible and went out of her way to help with any questions. We will be back soon, thank you!

The apartment is as described. Close to the beach and also to the train station. A shaded parking space for the car is available. Great excursions can be started on foot, by bike, by car and also by train as the place is very centrally located on the island. We felt very comfortable.

Aaron lives in a real Berlin artist apartment in the city's most inspiring neighborhood. It's clean and filled with his stuff - very good vibe. He is super accommodating and we highly recommend him.

Good location right next to the beach, great with indoor swim pool for the kids, clean apartment and great with a parking spot not too far away from the apartment. A bit hard to communicate in English, but the written instructions were very helpful.
