Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. From the jetty or boat you can fish or swim. To the Baltic Sea, to Schwerin as well as to Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km.

The building, which was planned as an ecological hotel (InRuh) at the end of the 1990s, combines light, space and the surrounding nature.
