For rent, a guest room on the ground floor of our vacation home with its own entrance, shower, and toilet. The room is for a few days of rental, it doesn't have a decent kitchen. Equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee and kettle, toaster, dishes, silverware, and large patio, towels, and linens. Authentic wooden floors, a spacious shower, a comfortable bed, and a great view of the lake and mountains. Our own entrance is from the other side of the house, so privacy is guaranteed.

The sun-dappeled former slate mine ist situated at the rocks underneath Castle Gutenfels, directly at the hiking trail "Rheinsteig". The property is part of the Unesco world heritage and a wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy the terrace, shaded with a vine bower, the mysterious cave entrance of the mine, the traditional herb garden, the secluded relaxing green and the bird´s eye view.

The property is located next to the church, a 2-minute walk from the Rhine and a 3-4-minute walk from the train station. In the Rhine complex there is a boat dock for beautiful Rhine tours. Toddler playground and a beach. Kilometers of bike and footpaths directly along the Rhine. For hiking and climbing enthusiasts, the nearby forest with climbing rocks is recommended. The Moselle with swimming beach is about 200 m away. The beautiful vineyards are within walking distance. This apartment is on the upper floor of our small house in the high-altitude district of Zell-Barl. Equipped with a shower room and a kitchen with all the necessary utensils (fridge, stove, pots/pans, microwave, kettle, dishes, sink), the apartment offers everything for everyday needs. A shopping center is easily accessible on foot and by car. Many hiking trails, historic towns and recreational opportunities in the surrounding area are also easily accessible.
