Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mariposa

Tchukon and Carolyn’s home was great! We were a group of 7 and the space fit us all well. Extremely clean, I think the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts were responsive and included lots of helpful information for the house. Backyard is wonderful, and we all really enjoyed the hot tub, especially at sunset. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

We loved staying at Courtneys place. It was very clean and well maintained. The ambience was simply great too.

We had such a perfect stay at Maja’s home! The view is incredible, and the various decorations around the place give it a very cozy vibe. There’s plenty of space and things to do that we never felt bored. On top of this, Maja is very kind and clearly communicated everything our group needed to know. Definitely hoping to return here someday!

This is my favorite place to stay and my second time staying here! Cece's place is gorgeous, relaxing, peaceful, and the perfect getaway for when exploring Yosemite or the surrounding area. She is always helpful and so kind. I could not ask for a better place to stay or host and will continue returning!

We were a small group of friends on a weekend getaway to Yosemite. The drive is about 45 minutes to the entrance, and a 5-7 minute drive to Mariposa town for groceries and restaurants. The property was very private and peaceful, lots of games, a hot tub, bbq and fire-pit. Although we were there for a short time (3 nights) and did not get to take full advantage of the amenities, it was still amazing to have access to all of that. The house itself was spotless, beds were comfy and everyone slept really well. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, but I would say the oven temperature was off (would get way too hot and burn our food quickly), so be careful. I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again if I had the opportunity.

My family absolutely loved Sharon’s place. The home is beautifully decorated and personalized with a Yosemite theme - perfect for a trip to the national park. Also a super peaceful getaway for everyone visiting from the city! Stargazing at night from the patio was a sweet added bonus.

Very nice place one block from town. Every restaurant we ate in was fantastic. Naoko was super helpful and responsive whenever we had a question. The house has beautiful touches. The only one thing I didn’t realize before arriving… Maybe I just didn’t read through the description fully… Is that there are about 20 stairs descending from the driveway into the house. This was no problem for us, but might be for people who are a lot older. We really enjoyed our time here. The place was delightful to come home too. Air conditioning, comfortable sitting areas. Immaculate. Quiet. We would definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our stay at Christina’s lovely home! The view from the back deck is amazing. The home was well equipped. Very peaceful! We had a maintenance issue, but Christina was quick to respond and fix it, even on a holiday. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great location in the woods. very calm and peaceful place. loved the fully stocked kitchen. Connie was very responsive, friendly and gave good recommendations for Yosemite. The sofa cum bed in the living room was a bit uncomfortable though but manageable. Having dishwasher in the kitchen would have been very useful as we had to do all the dishes before the checkout. Overall it was a good experience.

The cabin in Oakhurst was very quiet and peaceful. The patio was especially nice. Charlotte was super helpful and a great host. It was the perfect location for spending a few days in Yosemite.

We had a great stay at Jigna’s place. The apartment is nicely located in the center of Mariposa, but still quiet at night. It’s approx 1 hour drive to Yosemite (either west or south entrance), which makes it a perfect location if you are not able (or willing) to stay in the park. The apartment looks exactly as pictured, both bedrooms are of good size. The bed in one of the rooms is very comfortable, the other is a bit noisy (it creaks when you turn). The bathroom is of great size, with a shower with good water pressure. Loved the space in the living room and kitchen, and the balcony was also perfect for some relaxing. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

Very nice, cozy spot, right next to a cafe and at the center of Oakhurst! Ann was very responsive and the place was clean. No complaints!

All I can say is WOW. This place is amazing. You won’t regret staying here. Beautiful surroundings, secluded, cozy, warm and inviting apartment that just makes you feel at home, maybe even better than home. It has everything you need, so don’t worry. It’s very close to the valley too. I enjoyed every minute of it. Alexey is an amazing host that gives you great instructions, takes care of you personally and makes you feel at home. Yosemite is magical already, and having a great place to stay just makes the whole experience perfect!! Don’t settle for a run down hotel in the valley, stay here! We sure will be staying here again! Great stay! The place was clean and has everything we needed. Felt very peaceful and the host was very responsive. It’s about an hour and a half drive to Yosemite village, which ended up not being too bad!

Great option for going to Yosemite!

Sally's place was a great home-base for skiing at china peak mountain, about 30 minutes away. we loved the place, it was large, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches with coffee, lotion, extra blankets etc. The home was cozy warm and we would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice place and such a wonderful atmosphere. The home is so nice and just very homey. Easy check in, has all the utensils you’ll need, and easy to get to Yosemite! The Smokehouse Grille next door is so nice! It was easy to communicate with Terri!

We had a great stay at Aaron’s condo. It’s an easy drive to the Wawona entrance to Yosemite and close to restaurants outside the park. It was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed for our annual mother-daughter National Park trip. Aaron is a great host and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lori was a great host. She was super flexible with check in time as we arrived earlier than expected. Her home was very comfortable and clean, which we really liked.

Terry’s place was great, exactly what we needed. We were originally booked at an RV stay and an hour before check in they let us know that the shower was broken. We have a toddler and I was frantically trying to find a place nearby Bass Lake and luckily Terry accepted my reservation quickly and took us in! It was like a five star hotel compared to what we were going to be in! I’ve managed and cleaned airbnb’s for years and they thought of everything here. Lots of cute little touches and things for our son to play with, as well as coffee and creamer and little treats, and I really appreciated those extra touches. The only thing that bums me out is when we have to ‘clean’ up before check out… strip the beds, unload the dishwasher, take the trash out, etc. in my opinion that’s what cleaners and property managers are for, not guests, but that doesn’t take away from the nice house and experience we had here. Thank you!

It was great to be stay inside Yosemite. The access to Glacier Point was better than staying at Yosemite Valley. It was good to get perishable food in the valley than come back and cook meals instead of buying meals in the valley. We would be very happy to stay there again if we come back for a visit to YNP.

Great location with lots of activities to do in the country club ! Very close to Yosemite national park. Alan was very helpful and quick to respond .
