Holiday rentals with beach access in Makkum

We had wonderful days on Ameland with our dog. Petra's accommodation was top, with all the comforts and especially the kitchen very cozy! Ideal for hiking with the dog right from the house. And a few minutes walk to the supermarket. Beach easy to reach by car or bike.

We really enjoyed staying with Paul and Odette with our 10-month-old daughter. The apartment meets the description and is fully furnished; we didn't miss anything. We wanted to make the crossing without a car. With the many items needed for a holiday with a baby, that felt impossible. Because a high chair, a cot and changing mat were provided, she made it possible for us to leave the car ashore and come by bike! We could have left even more at home, because on arrival there were toys, games (also for adults), cuddles and different outdoor toys available for loan. The too good to go fridge is also of added value! Thanks for the hospitality and the nice stay. We'd love to come back to Terschelling!!

A beautiful little place to stay. Very clean and tidy. We lacked nothing,we will be back. Very centrally located and you could walk to everything.

Our stay with Ymke was very nice. The location is perfect – around the corner are Leeuwarden and Harlingen, ideal for a nice getaway or if you want to find the hustle and bustle. As a couple who likes to cook, we were especially excited about the kitchen. We had brought our own knives, but otherwise everything was really provided to prepare a delicious meal. We would love to come back here to recover from the hustle and bustle in our hectic life in peace.

We enjoyed our short break very much. The quiet and cozy location was rounded off by the only 15-minute walk to the almost private beach on EuroParcs. The complex (an old farm) and the apartment are very clean. The apartment itself was probably just recently renovated. The landlord is very friendly and committed. I'm sure we'll be back.

It was a lovely stay with super nice and useful tips from the host! Mega helpful and easy to find if you needed something but also let you go completely and free. We have so much enjoyed this lovely place.

We had a very nice time in this very cozy studio. So nicely decorated. You immediately feel at home. Everything is new. Everything you need is available. Location is very convenient, Nes is a cozy village on Ameland. You cycle so wonderfully a long way away. Had a nice welcome from Jurjen. What a nice stay we had! Super friendly people. Beautiful place and very central location. We were with 2 young children and this was very easy to do! Certainly subject to repetition! Who knows, maybe next year!😉

The stay was very beautiful, nothing to complain about. The house was perfectly clean, the surrounding was beautiful and the host, Bart, responded really friendly and in a matter of minutes. We felt comfortable from the beginning to the end and would for sure come back another time.

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We had a wonderful time with our daughter. There are so many interesting things to do on the island. The indoor pool with its crazy slides was fantastic. Gerdi was a terrific host. We‘ll come again.

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

What a lovely little place, right in the heart of the old city, super close to harbour and restaurants. We used the train station a lot, which is only a 10 minute walk away. The house is clean, modern and has all amenities. Communication with Jouke was easy and we received quick responses. We would stay here again in a hearbeat!

Spacious, clean and well-equipped house. It is located in a quiet and very evocative village (little Gieethorn). Micaela is very kind and welcoming during check-in. We spent 6 days in serenity and comfort and visited by car various sites in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Leiden, Haarlem, Volendam and Marken, Zaanse Schan, Gieethorn) knowing to return in the evening to a perfect little house to rest. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful vacation. The vacation home is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need and very comfortably furnished! You feel right at home! The contact with Renske was super nice and reliably fast. You can only recommend the house!!!

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. If we had any questions, they were immediately available and the location was great. Free parking was right outside the door and also a Spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes' walk away. In the immediate vicinity were also restaurants. Quick access to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. All in all a nice place and we would definitely come back! Julia and Tommy

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was very nice and clean. Just a little smaller than shown in the pictures, but completely ok for two people. We were very satisfied with everything, especially Johanna was extremely friendly and accommodating! We were primarily in Stavoren for fishing and had a lot of fun and beautiful fish. Thanks for everything!

APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on the Jisselmeer. Waking up in bed was never nicer. Very quiet, super nice hosts. Despite advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket is a 5-7 minute walk daily. A cafe is almost right outside the front door.

Super central located in the beautiful Urk. It was only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the idyllic sailing harbor with very nice restaurants. We had everything we needed in the apartment. Thank you so much for the beautiful welcome and the hospitality to Jans

Everything tiptop. Marcel and his wife help with everything, are very friendly and relaxed. We rented Marcel's electric boat and did a tour through the canals and lake. It was wonderful. Marcel gave us a good introduction. Thank you!
