We stayed here as had a family wedding close by. It was comfortable and we enjoyed being able to walk to local shops and cafes.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this immaculate home in Oxford. The house is beautifully furnished with a perfect blend of comfort and style—every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The back garden was a real highlight: peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Everything was spotless on arrival, and the host made us feel incredibly welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking a relaxing and elegant stay in Oxford.

Karen and Steve were fantastic hosts, they were flexible with both check in and check out times for our stay, which made the move in and out much easier on our cat Simba. The place itself is beautiful, a real home-from-home with modern amenities, a peaceful and spacious living area and everything we needed for our two week stay. They even offered a bedding change after the first week if needed. We would be very happy to stay here again, and would have stayed for longer if it were available

Adam was the perfect host, going the extra yard to make me feel at home: beers in the fridge, eggs, bacon, bread and orange juice too. His instructions were clear and helpful and his modern house felt homely and relaxing from the moment I entered - super convenient too for working at Royal Ascot which was only a 15 minute drive away. I would stay again without a moment’s hesitation. Thank you Adam.

We lovely Rebecca place. Calming and airy decor made us feel relax and at home. We had everything we needed. It was a perfect fit for our group of three generations of women. Beautifully appointed rooms one for each of us and so many lovely spaces with room to relax as a group or have some personal space. The outdoor areas, especially on the riverside were magical watching the swans glide by. If you’re considering this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed. Communication was also fantastic :-)

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I was especially touched by the extra care taken to prepare for my son’s stay: a high chair, cot bed, and even some lovely toys were all thoughtfully provided, which made a big difference for us as a family. The garden was a peaceful haven and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or letting my little one play. The location is ideal for a longer stay, with easy access to nearby attractions for day trips—and even London is not too far away. Every detail in the home showed how much the host cares about the guests’ comfort. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’m so grateful for the warm hospitality and would love to come back again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sophie’s house, it was comfortable and homely in a beautiful location. Sophie was helpful and gave just enough information to make check in easy and we knew that we could get in touch if we needed anything, what more can I say?

This is a beautifully presented home. Lots of historic character and decorated in a way that makes you feel like you're staying somewhere way more expensive for a real bargain of a price. Titilola was really responsive beforehand. I am sometimes a bit nervous of properties where the host lives on site but they were great, friendly when we bumped into them but really unobtrusive. We stayed with young kids and grandparents and the house worked for all of us which is rare. The village is just the right size, with a playground, cafe, local shops and pubs all walkable. I wish we'd looked up more about it beforehand and planned more time there. we'll definitely be considering staying again, if only to make the most of the excellent book selection!

I booked this stay for my husband's 70th birthday with our family. There was 10 in total. The greeting was lovely and David explained everything about his property with passion and warmth. Im not surprised the place has the 'wow' factor for myself and family. The converted narn had beautiful features very pretty but David has introduced some great electric blinds, lighting, modern kitchen but fits with the period property. Fab tennis court, David provided balls and bats for guests to to use. David then took us to the pool area and extra bedroom and we were blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lovely towels at pool and bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Pool warm, jacuzzi great. We absolutely loved our time at Davids property. Would defo recommend. Top class.

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

Great last minute night away from London. We took three children and the dog and had a great time. The hosts had great comms and were accommodating of an earlier check in. The kids enjoyed the garden and pond area, local village co op shop had all the essentials we needed for the stay. Nice local pubs!

My husband and I booked Fiona's place for 2 nights just for pure relaxation and to get away from the usual chaos of life. It was just what we were after. Close enough to Henley for a meal out and a stroll along the Thames but also total peace and tranquility back at the cottage. The use of the pool was a bonus too. We will definitely be back. The perfect tonic.

My partner, me and our dog stayed at Madeleines pool house, absolutely stunning and comfortable! So much space for our pooch. Madeleine and her husband were so welcoming and helpful throughout our visit! Thank you so much for your flexibility and responsiveness!

The Island House is a beautiful, comfortable oasis surrounded by green space and with views of a branch of the Thames. It is private, quiet and light-filled, affording a view of the diverse birds in the trees and passing swans on the river, while also within 8 minutes drive of Hampton train station with easy links to central London. There are cute pubs and restaurants in the local town (about 15-20 min walk or 2 min drive) and nearby towns, and expansive Bushy Park and Hampton Court are just 15 minutes drive. If you don't fancy a walk and don't have a car, but want a quiet weekend away without cooking - many local restaurants and grocery stores deliver to the location. Lisa is friendly and responsive and welcomed me with coffee, tea, fresh bread, milk, butter and fresh pressed juice. Staying at the Island House was such a treat; exactly the restful spot I was looking for while in the greater London area. Thank you Lisa!

Was over the moon with the place for the time we stayed. In a great location and very close to town centre. I would highly recommend for groups looking to stay in the area! Very responsive to any of my messages and were always willing to help with any questions I had.

Neil and Heidi were lovely hosts, easily approachable and plenty of helpful local knowledge. The cottage easily exceeded our expectations, it was spotless, well decorated and had everything that we needed for our 10 day stay. The local area was quiet and the surrounding area had plenty of cycling routes to keep us entertained! We have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to anyone requiring a peaceful stay or easy access to London and local towns and look forward to a return visit when stopping in that area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at V's through Airbnb, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, V was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend notifying her of your arrival time; it allows her to prepare everything perfectly. Upon entering, we were greeted by a delightful assortment of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel uniquely special. V had arranged a delightful spread of personalized breakfast items upon request, featuring artisan breads, jams, butter, and even delicious chocolates and a cake waiting for us. The warm ambiance, enhanced by soft music and gentle lighting, instantly made us feel at home. V's interior decor is truly one of a kind, reflecting her fantastic personality and talent for design. Thanks so much Rachel. We had a bit of an issue with the facilities at the start of our stay and you were round like a shot to troubleshoot. It's a fantastic little flat and a perfect location to walk to Stanlake Park a fabulous local wedding venue. We had a fab stay and can highly recommend.

I loved my stay at Patrick and Susan’s place. When I arrived, the house was bathed in sunshine. It’s covered in ivy and so beautiful—it looks like something out of Grand Designs. I love the Scandinavian design inside. It’s peaceful and tranquil—spacious, relaxing, and full of that hygge feeling. I spent one night there with my mini dachshund dog. It was 24°, a beautiful summers day, so I had an outdoor shower in the evening sunshine, which was such a magical experience. There’s also an indoor shower, which was a pleasant surprise when I arrived. It’s great to have both options—it makes the place feel even more thoughtful and well-designed, and adds to the sense that it’s a perfect find! I only stayed one night, but I would’ve loved to stay longer! The bed is really comfortable, it’s incredibly peaceful, and I loved watching the trains go by during the day. There are so many beautiful places to explore nearby! Highly recommend! X

Wing Cottage in Marlow was perfect! The cottage has been very well renovated with every detail feeling luxurious. Andrew and Emily were incredibly kind and helpful hosts giving us some great local recommendations and making us feel at home. We would love to return and thoroughly recommend the place!

We absolutely loved staying at Penelope’s Coach House. It has been beautifully designed and decorated and every room has all one needs. The house is in a very quiet location and there are wonderful walks in the area as well as a fantastic pub with delicious food and friendly staff. I would recommend this place to everyone.
