Holiday rentals with lake access in Maidenhead

We've just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at Aimee's little gem of a place and it was everything we hoped for and more. It was clean, quirky and the boat access was a real treat! Thank you for your hospitality Aimee! You and your place were marvelous!

The house is stunning - beautiful, spacious, private and quiet. Frederika was friendly, extremely helpful and responsive. There were very clear instructions on how to access and leave the property. Plenty of space and lovely decorations for a family Christmas gathering. The garden is lovely and the area is great for walks. Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Some practical improvements had been made since our last stay, in particular the new teapot was very welcome!

Alison was a wonderful host, there to greet us and she had already given us recommendations for the area. She showed us around her house explaining where everything is. The house book has all the instructions in it. The photos of the house do not do it justice, the house is so well designed with superb views. Wildlife watching from the terrace is a must! Every amenity has been thought of and we did not want to leave the house. However on venturing out there are plenty of walks from the house, or Marlow and Bray are not too far away with all of their famous restaurants. An exceptional location with Clivedon not too far away. We will be back, we had a wonderful time and cannot recommend Alison’s house highly enough.

A beautiful warm, peaceful and cosy home, everything we needed as a family of four over Christmas. James responded to my messages quickly and the whole trip was hassle free. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommend.

Great location that is ~25-30 minutes from city center and many of the sights like Radcliffe camera. Also has a well connected bus stop right around the corner that made it easy to navigate around much of the city (especially when some of our party was tired of walking). Rooms were pretty spacious (especially master and loft bedroom) and having access to a washing machine in the house was great. Henrietta was very responsive to any questions I had and we enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The house was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. To our surprise, the most essential groceries were already provided in the house, which made us feel incredibly welcome and at home from the start. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were super cozy, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing. The location was quiet but still close to everything. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth and easy. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

I booked it for a Japanese colleague, excellent location for train station & to supermarkets, cafes & restaurants.

Wonderful clean & comfortable apartment- ideal for our family trip to London. Only 5-6 mins walk to Hammersmith Tube station so able to get wherever we wanted very easily.( There are buses too but we used the tube) Apartment has all the amenities you need & was very quiet - not far from the Thames & Hammersmith Bridge. The hosts were very communicative throughout & kindly allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out as we had an evening flight. Having the 2nd toilet was also very convenient. I would highly recommended this apartment as an ideal base when visiting London.

A very cosy flat, nice area. Lovely surroundings . Flat is just as described and shown in photos, very nice modern and clean. Everything went very well. The flat is comfortable, especially the living room upstairs! We had a great time. Edward was very kind and it was easy to communicate.

This apartment is in an excellent location in Oxford. Everything can be reached on foot. We were there for the May Morning celebrations and could access everything easily. The flat is well equipped despite being small. There was quite a lot of noise from traffic at night. We enjoyed our stay. Oxford in May sunshine is hard to beat!

Jaany was very clear in explaining that the Hide did not have a bath or shower. This was not a problem. The room was beautifully furnished - a very comfortable bed - and super clean. She was warm in her communication and very helpful. [ I left behind my phone charger and lead so she contacted me and explained where I could retrieve outside her house later that day. ]

Great little cottage in a great location. Sian was very communicative. Would definitely stay here again when we are next in the area.

5th time staying with Debi in the Mews, had a lovely time as always. Place is as nice as presented in photos, and Debi&team are responsive and friendly hosts. Will be back next time we need a place to stay in the area.

What a gem! We had an amazing stay in the cottage. This is such a beautiful place, and the garden opens on a pedestrian courtyard, it felt really safe for the kids. Lovely short country walk to two local restaurants where we enjoyed going more than once. The flowers were such a nice touch, thank you. And in terms of amenities, the washer-dryer was so welcomed.

The place was absolutely beautiful and cozy feels like we’re just at home chilling. Every part of the room is spacious. Spotless clean. Backyard was big where we set up the party. Host was kind and responsive. We enjoyed our time spent in his place. Will definitely come back

I loved my stay at David’s place. I felt like a being in a fairy tale house. Surrounded by green fields, other nice houses and close to a river, the place is truly beautiful and peaceful. The house has wonderfully arranged front and rear gardens. David is a fantastic and interesting host. He keeps the authentic/original Airbnb spirit, looking for sharing life experiences and local knowledge with his guests, which is not easy to find nowadays. Despite my last minute booking (just a few hours before my arrival), everything was ready and he replied very quickly to my questions. He even picked me up at Reading train station and one day took me to Greys House, which I truly appreciated and enjoyed. Thank you very David and hope to come back to continue exploring more National Trust properties.

Susie's place was perfect for my stay. She was an excellent host, friendly, welcoming and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended. I hope to return.
