In the middle of the nature of the eastern Elbe Valley you will find peace and relaxation. Activities such as hiking, fishing or Elbe rafting can, in addition to many attractions in your area, beautify your holiday. On the terraces and the large courtyard, you can enjoy the sun or sit around the campfire in large groups. Direct neighbor is a family-run inn where you can stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the next village there is a large quaint brewery.

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Since November 2019, lovingly renovated single house with 80m² living space invites families to relax, whether for a cozy weekend or an exploration of the Lauenburg Lake District and the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. Whether you're taking long walks or bike rides, enjoying coffee and cake on the terrace or having a barbecue on the fire pit, it's up to you. The Waldhaus is located in the middle of a natural forest property, with many special highlights, such as the barbecue and saunaota.

The apartment was only completed in 2022 and welcomes you on approx. 170 square meters with a large living and dining area, an open kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 4 separate bedrooms. From the spacious living area with high ceiling, open truss and the glazed Tennentor (Grod Dör) you can look at the village square.
