Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lexington

While this house is not particularly close to bourbon tastings, the size of the house and quiet neighborhood ensured we were well rested for the next day’s adventure. About 40 minutes from Lexington and 90 minutes from Louisville, we spent a lot of time driving between destinations. The house itself was well equipped for our party of six. Plenty of space for each person’s privacy and large common areas that allowed everyone to eat and drink together. We were unable to enjoy the water below due to recent flooding.

Great location! Secluded and private, perfect for a nice country stay. Unfortunately, the weather did not let us enjoy the fire pit but we will definitely be back!

David is a great host - he is quick to respond and provides clear instructions! The home is conveniently located with several restaurants within just a mile or two. The Capitol building, Governor’s mansion, etc. are within walking distance just across the street. The home was very clean (and I have high standards). The kitchen had everything we needed, though we only ate breakfast at the house. The only downside was the street traffic noise heard in the front bedroom. The home is a quiet neighborhood on a 35mph. Overall, I would highly recommend this property. Thank you David for everything!

Logan went above and beyond when the Kentucky river began overflowing near the house. He quickly coordinated another location so we would remain safe and made sure the unexpected change was as easy as possible. The entire stay exceeded expectations.

Larissa is very responsive. We really didn’t need to contact her for anything except to ask for a slightly later checkout. But she kept in contact with me making sure everything was good on our end. Walkable to UK campus, Kroger (end of the block), restaurants, and bars. Easy drive to MANY places/areas. Place was very clean, beds were so comfortable. The area was quiet. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Myself and three friends stayed at the Stagg House during our visit to the bourbon trail. Private and peaceful location along the Kentucky river. Perfect place to stay during our visit to the area.

The location was easy to find and looked exactly like the pictures. We absolutely loved it. It was so nice to have a home away from home and that’s exactly how it felt. After a 17hr drive this is what we needed to unwind. We had everything we needed to feel right at home and even had coffee for in the morning! The location is close to the college and downtown, we were also encouraged to reach out to our host for suggestions as to where to visit while we were there. This will definitely be our go to for a comfortable, relaxing stay while in Berea.

Wonderful place to stay! Tucked away, nice and cozy.A short drive to Red River Gorge. Had a fully stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed and very cozy living room area. Would definitely want to stay here again!

This is our second visit to Jon's listing. We enjoy the location and easy access to the Kentucky Horse Park. The apartment is lovely and very spacious and was accommodating for 5 people. I highly recommend this property.

What an adorable and cozy apartment. Ellen was kind enough to accommodate a very late check-in and even left lights on so we didn’t have to enter a dark apartment. That was very much appreciated. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Super comfortable beds, hot water and good water pressure, safe neighborhood. My daughter and I took a walk around the area and downtown and felt very safe. Her gardens make it feel like you are in this little oasis away from everything. Very peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Ellen’s place.

Lexington is a great city, and this was easy walking distance to downtown with my wife and teenage kids. If you love old houses and charming streets full of them, check this place out. The space is up a fairly steep flight of stairs that was fine for us, but I could see someone with mobility issues struggling with them. The place was very cute, albeit odd, given the age of the building and squeezing a unit in on the upper level. It was charming to us as we are a fans of older homes. You will dodge some low sloping ceilings as you move around the unit. The one glitch was that our downstairs neighbors got noisy one night. I messaged John around midnight, assuming he wouldn't see it until the next day. However, he surprised me with a quick return note. He contacted the noisy neighbors, and they quickly quieted down. Top notch service. I would come back for sure to enjoy the street, walk downtown, hit Keeneland, and enjoy all Lexington has to offer.

Nora’s home was lovely, as were the yard and garden. She was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great deal for everything you get, we wanted a quiet weekend before holiday craziness started and it was exactly what we wanted! The hosts were so helpful and clear and quickly responded to questions. We hope to come back in the summer time!

We stayed in the Four Roses Suit and it was wonderful. This was during the snow and it felt really cozy and was had a great HVAC system heated up fast and stayed warm all night easily. Walking distance to Vallozzi’s which is excellent, and the coffee shop on the corner is really great too. Host were responsive and good to deal with. Highly recommend.

A great location close to Rupp arena and a quick uber ride to downtown Lexington bars and restaurants. Easy drive to several of the most popular distilleries. The property is newer and was extremely clean. There was a great smart TV and a Nespresso machine with plenty of pods. The primary bathroom was very large and well appointed. The second full bath is also nice. Plenty of towels and extra blankets and toilet paper/paper towels were provided. Easy access to the building and the unit itself. It is worth noting that the second bedroom does have a “window” towards the ceiling that has no glass and is open to the living room. There were two couples traveling together for our stay. We were hardly there (busy visiting distilleries and hanging out downtown) and when we were, we were all sleeping and up at the same time in the mornings so it wasn’t an issue for us but worth noting.

Lots to do nearby. A nice quiet place to stay.

Great location with excellent amenities. Fun location with lots to do within walking distance. Decorations were great and beds were comfortable.

Stayed there to visit some bourbon distilleries and also the KY Derby. Wanted a cute place for four adults. The place was clean and looked just like the pics. Check in was clear and easy. We had a small snafu with the washer but it was not a big deal and Jon was super responsive and offered us a solution immediately, which was kind, but we did not need. If we ever come back to the area, would def stay again.

Stayed in this terrific 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for two nights while my wife and I visited nearby relatives. Excellent location; easy check-in and great communication. Strongly recommend! We will definitely be a repeat customers!
