Maria is the best host we’ve ever had through Air BnB. We can’t recommend her highly enough and have already recommended the lodge to multiple friends. She has excellent recommendations and takes very good care to ensure you feel welcome and comfortable.

A perfect get away from it all without being isolated. Breakfast on the balcony in the sun with views to die for is a real treat. The pub in the village serves good food ( huge portions!) and is a short walk away. Pickering and farm shops for cafes and restaurants are a fifteen minute drive. Duncan greeted us at the gate on our arrival, at a time of our choosing. Duncan and his family are very friendly, are great for a chat but not at all intrusive. The Granary is a perfect place to stay. Beautifully restored, furnished and equipped with everything you need and would highly recommend it for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Many thanks for a great holiday. We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Wagtail Cottage! It was exactly as described — clean, tidy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a real highlight, and the peaceful, quiet surroundings made it even more relaxing. The hosts were wonderful, regularly checking in and responding very quickly to any questions we had. They also provided lots of great recommendations for things to do in the local area. We would definitely recommend staying here!

A beautiful, cosy cottage, in a glorious setting. Julie has curated a peaceful cottage, full of charm and quiet luxury that made for a peaceful break. She is a friendly and helpful host. The location is perfect for wonderful walks around the immediate area and there’s LOTS of touristy things within a 30-minute drive radius. We can’t wait to go back for another stay.
