Hall Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Levisham on the edge of the North York Moors. It is an ideal location for walking, visiting the coast or the many visitor attractions nearby. Levisham is a typical North York Moors village with a single street bounded by common land verges and stone cottages. The Horseshoe Inn sits at the top of the village, 200 yards across The Green from Hall Cottage.
“I had a fantastic stay at Louise's cottage and wish I could have stayed more than just one night! She was a fantastic host and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The cottage is 2 minutes walk from the local pub, The Horseshoe, and Louise can provide a very tasty breakfast. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in the area.”

“A great stay in the heart of Yorkshire! If you want to spend a night lost in the middle of Yorkshire’s countryside this is the right place! Mark built the cabins by himself and they look lovely, cosy and warm. Breakfast is delicious and I am sure you will have a great time if you decide to visit. The cabins are sparkling clean and furnished with everything needed for a short stay. See you soon Mark!”

“We found that Pear cottage was a charming little one night weekend escape. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful, very quick in responding to any questions we had. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the swimming pool and cottage. (which sadly we couldn’t use as had very limited time) The location of the property is great, close to where we wanted to be. We spent the day at flamingo land which was just a twenty minute drive. We booked in for an evening meal at The Grapes inn. It was a very short walk away from the cottage. My partner and I had the most wonderful meal. (one of the best meals we have ever eaten in a pub!) The following morning check out was easy and simple. We found a charming little village called Thornton le dale is on the doorstep. We visited here for breakfast, all the locals were so friendly and helpful. We then went on to visit Dalby forest, again just a short drive away. Would recommend this highly to anybody who wants a lovely little country break away.”
