Our stay was really super everything was as described. We were welcomed super warmly and said goodbye. It was really a great weekend again and again.

The dune house is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time on Ameland. Located directly on the dunes, you can experience the nature of the island in all its facets. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. Geertje is a great host and communication with her was very pleasant. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend a stay dune house!

The house was very nice, the many seats outside were especially great. It was all comfortable and nicely decorated. The surroundings were fantastic and quiet. Too bad there was no water in the pool. It was a nice time to relax. Thank you. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

Lovely little cottage right on the water. The house is exactly as described, perfectly clean and well maintained. The location is fantastic, right on the water but also with a small pool that our children delighted in. A fun canoe and boat to take a tour around the surrounding waters. Highly recommend for a peaceful few days with children.

We had a great time in this beautiful cottage in the countryside. The welcome was very warm, the cottage was clean and very characterful. We completely relaxed and the jacuzzi was great. We expected the pool to be open, but in the end we had a great time swimming in the Canada lake and with long walks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for beautiful nature and tranquility.

This was the sweetest and most charming Airbnb mountain we've ever had. There was so much personality, so much spirit of Kitty and Erik in every room, every item we loved. Obviously flea market goers with an eye for what's special - just like we are! Everything very clean, with even everything on site to make yourself a plentiful first breakfast and more. The stairs up are very steep, but well secured, and our 70-year-old joints were also quick to get out. We really enjoyed these days and it was like coming home every time. Thanks for everything! We had a lovely stay in this clean and cozy house. The beds are lovely and there is beautiful art. My friend (friend writes text) asked me to marry at the lighthouse during our stay, that of course makes this stay extra special! Recommended! Also super close to bakery, bus and dunes :)

We stayed a few days during the Christmas holiday in this beautiful cottage. We so much enjoyed this romantic characteristic Eilander cottage ❤️ We found the bedstee so cozy and the decor is very cozy. We felt completely at home and were very sorry to leave. The contact with Alida was also very pleasant! If you are looking for a cottage to slow down, sleep in a bed, play games at the nice dining table and sink into the soft cuddle bench, then we can definitely recommend this cottage! In addition, Schiermonnikoog is a great place and the cottage is fantastically located in the village 👌🏻✨

beautiful historic house in the heart of downtown, finely and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and excellent check-in experience. The surroundings are very tidy and quiet, a true oasis of tranquility. Excellent communication with the host, really recommended

We had wonderful days! A very comfortable cottage that was not lacking, in a very quiet area, in the middle of the meadow. A short distance from Leeuwarden. Very friendly owners. Highly recommended!

We spend a wonderful weekend there with friends. The location is lovely and quiet, but close to lots of activities in the area. Perfect place to stay, we'll definitely come here again.

This quirky cottage is very well equipped, full of character and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The local town of Oldberg offers a supermarket, bakery and chemist shop plus a couple of café/restaurants and the cottage is close enough to the major routes so as to offer easy access to larger settlements such as Zwolle and Heerenveen. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the property to those seeking a bit of peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings.

This is the best Airbnb we've stayed in. It's a fabulous home with a beautiful garden and is in a quiet location with lovely views over the Friesland countryside. Geertje is a wonderful host. Just perfect.🙂

A beautiful place for a family break when visiting Bays. Well located cottage to go to the Wadden Islands (Ameland) and a very good restaurant on the coast nearby (zwarte Haan)!

Maurits really is a super host. Friendly, responsive, helpful; among the very best hosts at airbnbs we've stayed. The kitchen did not have a microwave, and he bought one for us. Would stay with him anytime anywhere. Location was perfect, walk to bus stops, center of town, and both an Albert Heijn and Jumbo. The house was an authentic schipperswonig, but outfitted with an electronic lock system and heating system that was quiet and effective. Note three things to guests: (1) typical Dutch flight of stairs, but good handrail and perfectly navigable (better than most); (2) oven and mirrors at height suitable for > 180 cm tall Dutch person; (3) Groningen is a university town and current next door neighbors are students who had extremely noisy friends every Thursday night (very late); they did respond to our complaint, but needed to be told twice. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

A comfortable and nicely furnished house, with every comfort! Beautiful surroundings with good hiking trails. It was also great for the children, nice outside rabbits on the property. Highly recommendable!

The house was as described. Stayed here with 4 adults and a dog and had plenty of space. It was very clean like the bathroom and floors and there was no dust to be found. Also in October we could enjoy the terrace. There are also fun games, books and movies available. From the house you can walk in Lemmer or towards the Brekken. Nice host Evert is very pleasant in communication.

We had a very relaxing stay with six plus dog. The location of the house is very quiet and really beautiful - several times we were lucky enough to admire an enchanting sunset over the lake. Within walking distance, we were several times at the small harbor and were able to relax there. Several small villages are easily accessible by bike, by car we were in various places of the IJsselmeer and in Sneek - all super cute! The house itself is spacious and optimally divided with a ground floor bedroom with its own bathroom but separate toilet that can be used by everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, although we would have liked a regular coffee machine in addition. The combination oven/microwave is super convenient. Big compliment too😉: Finally an apartment with enough hangers!
