Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lavizzara

This is a gem and would always go back again, when visiting Lake Como. The rooftop terrace is really outstanding and with a breathtaking view over the lake. Will be back :)

Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Wohnung gefühlt. Es war alles sehr sauber und gemütlich. Monica war sehr freundlich, gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung gegeben und war immer erreichbar, wenn wir etwas benötigt haben. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und der Blick vom Garten und dem Balkon traumhaft schön. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung ist sehr traditionell in einem alten Steinhaus, im wunderschönen Verzasca Tal gelegen. Der Ort ist der ideale Standpunkt, um das Tal mit der schönen Natur, aber auch Locarno und Ascona zu erkunden. Bitte beachten: der Ort ist an einem Stausee, dort kann man nicht schwimmen! Auch gibt es im Tal keine Supermärkte, Bäcker etc, Einkäufe am besten vorher erledigen. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr sauber, die Küche voll ausgestattet, die Lage sehr ruhig. Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern da und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. (Es gibt steile Treppen im Haus, für sehr kleine Kinder nicht geeignet). Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Una splendida casetta indipendente in mezzo al verde con infinite possibilità per gite, trekking e visite a pochi minuti di macchina. Non manca davvero nulla in termini di attrezzatura, il camino scalda il cuore e l'accoglienza di Donatella è stata super. Alloggio consigliato soprattutto per una famiglia che abbia voglia di staccare un po' la spina e stare nella natura senza compromessi. Unica pecca, il bagno è un po' angusto ma ci si abitua in fretta.

Super gelegen, um in Chironico zu Boulderen. Es gab sogar einen Boulderführer im Haus und für den ersten Morgen Frühstück. Das war super, da es im Dorf keinen Laden gibt. Die Kinder fanden Spiele und Buntstifte, was sie gefreut hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Trotz schlechten Wetters haben wir eine sehr entspannte Woche in diesem sehr idyllisch gelegenen gemütlichen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sorgfältig renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist einmalig: ganz allein auf einer Lichtung im Wald. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war eine tolle Woche im wunderschönen Lucertola mit Traumaussicht, trotz extrem nassem Wetter. Wir fühlten uns auch im Haus sehr wohl, den schönen Aussenbereich hätten wir gerne noch etwas mehr genutzt. Zum Glück gab es die tolle verglaste Veranda. Mit OeV relativ gut erschlossen, ein Auto ist aber gut. Die Kommunikation mit Andrea war tadellos. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Cecilia!! It was a beautiful apartment with a lovely balcony. The area is extremely peaceful and with great access to neighborhood restaurants, the nearby cities of Ascona, Locarno, the lake, the mountains, and plenty of hiking opportunities. It was a great holiday, and Petra was an excellent host, very friendly and great with the communication.

Milena's apartment is the perfect place to explore the beautiful region of Ticino. The apartment is really homely and has everything you could need. The bed is large and so comfortable! We very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, der Blick vom Balkon unbezahlbar und der Einstieg in Wanderrouten einfach. Klaus ist ein phantastischer Gastgeber, hat uns persönlich in Empfang genommen, alles erklärt und hat sich sehr darum gekümmert, dass es uns gut geht. Die Wohnung ist mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man für einen guten Urlaub braucht und die Betten sind ein Traum. Wir haben super geschlafen. Danke noch einmal für diesen gelungenen Kurzurlaub im Fieschertal. Wir können die Unterkunft guten Gewissens allen empfehlen und würden auch selbst wieder reservieren, wenn wir dort Urlaub machen.

Reto est super sympathique et parle apparemment de nombreuses langues parfaitement! La cuisine est non seulement très jolie, alliant du mobilier ancien et charmant avec de l’électroménager récent de très bonne qualité (cuisinière induction, hotte d’aspiration du futur, tous les ustensiles nécessaires à disposition, magnifique frigo… le tout d’une propreté impeccable). Difficile ensuite de revenir dans notre appartement citadin modeste 😅 On n’a manqué de rien, il est également possible de manger à l’extérieur. Les containers pour les poubelles sont très proches, aucun problème sans voiture. Pareil pour la salle de bains, confortable et généreusement fournie en serviettes de différentes tailles et produits de base fort appréciés. L’ensemble est extrêmement cosy et confortable, très accueillant et chaleureux. On espère revenir bientôt! Et la région est absolument fantastique, on a eu la chance de faire des randonnées magiques et espérons beaucoup pouvoir revenir chez Reto en hiver!

Wir haben uns am Pfingstwochenende spontan entschieden, 2 Nächte im Tessin zu verbringen und sind dabei auf die Wohnung von Eva gestossen. Kurz vor der Abreise haben wir die Buchung getätigt, und obwohl so kurzfristig, bekamen wir schnell eine Rückmeldung von Eva, dass die Wohnung bereit sei wenn wir ankommen. Wir wurden dann auch herzlich von ihr persönlich empfangen und sie zeigte uns die Wohnung. Wir sind eine Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern und die Wohnung hat für so einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt gepasst. An dieser Stelle nochmals herzlichen Dank Eva!!

Es war einfach perfekt! Der Blick ist atemberaubend, die Ausstattung war unglaublich gut und alles war super sauber. Alles ist ordentlich und perfekt vorbereitet. This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

Die Unterkunft von Simon überzeugt mit dem großen Panoramafenster im Wohnzimmer wovon man einen außergewöhnlichen Blick über den Lago hat. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles was man benötigt. Simon ist immer gut erreichbar und hat uns zur Begrüßung mit Wein und Käse empfangen. Man hat ein kleines Stück über einen unbefestigten Weg und eine Treppe zu laufen um am Haus anzukommen, dafür ist man jedoch abseits der Straße und es ist ruhig. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Beautiful and nature-filled haven in Porto Ceresio surmounting Lago Lugano and surrounded by greens and mountains. The house is thoughtfully designed, comfortable and cozy. Our host Marco is friendly, professional, proactive and always willing to help on everything we need. It’s a perfect place for family and friends to make wonderful moments and memories. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place! 100% would stay again. Easy to park and go. Amazing views and comfortable accommodations. Even had a welcome basket! Local store has wine for $4 and you can grab items for breakfast before you set out. If going downtown get there early for parking. Great dinner spots all over. Elena was the best guide to meet us and get settled in. Amazing flute player as well. We loved our villa in Bellagio!
