Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Just 5 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with Japanese traditional style garden "Karesansui "garden view. This house is barrier free. There are distance between Tatami room and wood floor but we can prepare bed at wood floor so I think it is no problem. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Small but Cozy Japanese and Western-styled house. The owner, shirley, loves to visit many countries and we display her collections. You can use all of them. We have deck at outside, so take a seat and relax with the blue sky in the sunny day. For 2 guests, but available for 3 guests (may feel cramped). Will be able to experience the sleeping on Futon and Tatami. To avoid the expansion of Covid-19, we had some renovation and facilities. We will try to support your wonderful stay!

The apartment is 5 minutes walking from imperial garden , 7 minutes from Kyoto City Hall . Good mix of antique and modern kyoto , as many as you can find trendy restaurants and cafes & bakeries all around, you find traditional Japanese tea house and sweet stores also local eat-ins. Although commercial center is walking away distance , my place is on quiet one way street.
