Holiday rentals with lake access in Kraichgau

Markus is very friendly and communication with him went smoothly. The house is spacious and very clean. It has a beautiful big roof terrace.

Deliciously simple cottage but with complete furnishings. Beautiful view of the village. Nice bed, hard but that's what you're used to and good warm shower. We enjoyed a week. Within a radius of 20 kilometres, you can easily entertain yourself for a week, cute villages (Lembach too), overwhelming nature and a historic Walhalla! We think this region and the cottage are a must go if you love peace, nature, hiking/cycling and history.

We had a very nice week in a well maintained and clean cottage. The landlord gave us a little instruction and tips for the surrounding area. Everything is actually as described. Everything has been thought of... even detergent, garbage bags, dishwashing tablets, etc., I was able to take away. It was all there. The townhouse is lovingly and relatively highly furnished. The property is very well maintained. Under the week it is nice and quiet, on weekends there are many residents and guests on the lake. It is very noisy and sometimes a bit noisy. Overall, it was pure relaxation... quiet breakfast at the lake, bathing in the afternoon in the afternoon in the water of about 25 degrees and great sunsets in the evening. We did smaller bike rides. It is pleasantly flat around. You are in 20 min. by bike in Schwetzigen at the castle park or even in just 10 min. on the Rhine island times look at ships. We were happy to eat at Johanneshof, organic everything very tasty and fresh.... no 10 min. by bike. It was a great week... maybe we'll see you again... THANK YOU :)

Stefanie and her husband were very friendly and sociable. The surroundings are quiet and secluded. The place is very close to nature. The floors, gardens and the spiral staircase are unsecured for toddlers but with the railings are well doable for slightly older children.

A cottage in the countryside, perfect for a little break. Since the oil mill is in a cul-de-sac, it is wonderfully quiet there during the week. We felt at home right away upon arrival and first enjoyed the terrace overlooking the trout pond. The equipment is as described and everything worked well. There is a hut on the farm with farm products. There you can buy eggs, jam, syrup, smoked fish and drinks. The area offers many excursion destinations, and if you like, you can also hike directly from there or use the sauna in the rain. Restaurants and a supermarket can be found in the surrounding villages. The hosts were very friendly and the check-in was hassle-free. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

This the best equipped Airbnb we ever stayed at. The amenities are indescribable, even the bbq was fully prepared and we just had to light it. Bed is comfortable, tv is bigger than at home, kitchen appliances are extremely complete. We loved the house, because yes, it’s a house, and that might not be 100% clear on the pictures. We lived even more the friendliness and cuteness of host Romy. She wrote a handwritten letter with translated local recommendations into our native language! It was a very warm goodbye too and because my wife was doing an Iron Man the day after, she gave her a gift to wish her best luck. I loved the surroundings because there are endless opportunities to hike and cycle. Definitely fully recommended!

André welcomed us warmly and was always available to us, including tips for the area. We had a sick child on board and asked if we could possibly get into the apartment 1-2 hours earlier. André was super supportive in advance and responded quickly to every message. The beds were freshly made and really good. The fact that there was only one double bed blanket typically didn't bother us here at all because it is really huge. In the kitchen we were happy about the blender, on the terrace you can enjoy the afternoon/ evening sun and also to take the train to Strasbourg is no problem at all. We will be happy to come back - the charming cottage is a wonderful base for exploring the region. Thank you very much, dear André!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and communication went smoothly. The apartment was clean, cozy and exactly as described. The location was perfect for our needs, close to the tram and amenities. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful amenities and the small details that made the stay even more enjoyable (e.g. coffee/tea supplies, fast WiFi). We had a wonderful stay at this apartment near Strasbourg. The location was perfect for us, peaceful and cozy, just about 15 minutes by bike to the city center. We were traveling with our 2 year old son, and he loved the garden, especially the trampoline and the realy friendly rabbit he got to play with every day. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet, which made it easy for us to relax. Our host was kind and welcoming, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We would definitely love to come back again in the future. Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable here and were able to relax very well! There is a lot to do in the area, but the apartment is also very suitable for reading/ games/ relaxation days.

Ms Gerlinde J. is a perfect hostess. The apartment is huge, has a fantastic bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had enough towels; bath and toiletries were available. There was nothing to criticize. We were impressed how Gerlinde also "wuppt" the apartment in addition to her tasks.
