Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kiel

We had a fulfilling time with our dogs in this nostalgic, super-equipped thatched cottage. Garden / property are safely fenced and the beds are also great. Despite the great facilities and the very well-preserved interior, we were a little surprised that the hygiene was not perfect. Although it is an old house, more attention should have been paid to cobwebs (e.g. on the ceiling directly above the bed or in cupboards), the removal of silverfish in the bathroom (moisture/ventilation issue) and the cleanliness of the floors. We had to wipe up something from time to time and afterwards the white kitchen roll was pretty dirty. Overall, however, this did not affect the beautiful stay, because otherwise hygiene & order were taken care of in places that were particularly important to us. We were very satisfied with the location, design, quality of the electronics and communication and are happy to be a guest again!

A really great house, lovingly furnished and with a great equipped kitchen. That made the stay perfect :) Great garden for sitting and playing for the children. Everything you need to switch off!

We were here with our 2 small children and especially enjoyed the peace and relaxation. We really liked the view from the terrace and the living area to the lake. The children had toys in the children's room and we had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Despite the rain, there were great excursion destinations for families nearby and it is only a few minutes' drive to the beach. Thank you for the beautiful, relaxing stay and the cozy "short-term home"!

Rarely are my expectations exceeded on AirBnB but here it is absolutely true. We spent our annual family reunion with 3 generations in Grebin and only because of this fantastic accommodation we ignored the rain. The amenities and cleanliness are unmatched and we all had plenty of space, opportunities to relax, play and be together. The view of the horses, the visit of the hares in the meadow in front of the window and the loving design of the outdoor area did her good. Thank you 🙏

The apartment is highly recommended. Inke and her husband were super friendly and helpful. We immediately felt at home. There was nothing missing in the amenities. The breakfast eggs from the local chickens were very tasty. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely long weekend at Kirsten's place. The sleeping situation was flexibly adapted to our wishes with a toddler and the included entrance to Filippo's adventure garden was also great. With the large amount of space, we can imagine coming back together with another family!

The apartment fully met our expectations. The host was always easy to reach. The parking situation could be a bit better.

A great accommodation with a fantastic location. Our children immediately fell in love with the upper floor. There are cosy reading corners here and there and the view of the sea is priceless. The playground right outside the door is great for families. The beach is also perfect: shallow water for playing and looking for shells with small "sand islands" on which you can linger. A paradise for the little non-swimmers! Important to mention: in the evening it is fantastically quiet... no parties on the beach or loud restaurants. You can go for a great walk and let your mind wander. The hostess was very friendly and very eager to make our holiday as carefree as possible. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful time in Anna and Jan's beautiful apartment. Everything is tastefully decorated and the communication was always excellent and proactive (thanks again for the bread service)! The sauna is a great addition and we definitely recommend using it. The excursion destinations in and around Schleswig are also easily accessible from here. We will be happy to come back!

We had a really great time staying at the place! Everything was super relaxed – totally quiet, but still you can walk to the beach or the village in a few minutes. Perfect mix. We were there with two dogs and everything was just right: the garden is completely fenced, the two could move freely, and we didn't have to worry about anything. Otherwise, the apartment was well equipped – it really lacked nothing. Everything is very clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love. Lutz was super friendly, totally uncomplicated and flexible – you just feel welcome. The bicycles were a great extra, and the fact that they even thought of the spa card and instructions was really practical. In short: We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Very nicely located apartment with garden access. Many playgrounds nearby. Supermarket within walking distance. And very quiet with seagull singing. We felt very comfortable and it was totally sufficient for the booked days.

Lovers of old houses and passionate collectors spend an authentic vacation here with plenty of space or space and also many free spaces. Many personal belongings make you feel like a guest. Own mobility would be a plus because the place is very quiet. The owners are unobtrusive and yet immediately available. Everything worked out very well for us and we had a nice time. Great, very large and super equipped house! We stayed there with three families and felt very comfortable! The sauna was a special highlight! The beach was also very good on foot with the children! Highly recommended!

Everything worked out, the children could walk alone or cycle across the dike. Unfortunately, dish soap and sponge were not provided.

We had a wonderful short break in Damp and used all the amenities of the property extensively. The hosts on site were friendly, always available and very helpful. We will be happy to come back!

“It really is a castle!” was the response of the travel companions. And that's for sure! Beautiful location, clean, lovely sturdy beds and very spacious (bath) rooms. Plenty of space to sit, play games or get a breath of fresh air outside. The kitchen is equipped with a wide range of crockery so that not every person can use a piece. What I personally liked is that each room has the option to open 1 or more windows. This keeps it wonderfully fresh on slightly warmer days. In the villages nearby, there is a supermarket and a number of restaurants. Enough offer to pick up your belongings on the spot. Check-in can be done digitally at your own time. Wonderful.

We had a wonderful family weekend at the villa. The villa is well equipped and everything very well maintained including the beautifully landscaped garden. Everything was really thought of to make our stay as beautiful as possible. We got a valuable tip for an excellent restaurant just a few meters away.
