Welcome to Piilopirtti, an atmospheric log cabin in the Arctic Circle, on the shores of Lake Kemijärvi, 7 km from Suomutunturi. The cottage is located on a large lot and offers sweeping views of the lake and dangerous landscapes. From the village you can take the castle to a stunning sandy beach. Ski trails on Suomutunturi. But you can also go skiing on the lake from the yard. For the fisherman, Kemijärvi offers abundant catches. The berries are waiting for pickers right around the corner from the cabin.

Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Welcome to stay on our local reindeer farm. The ensuite guesthouse is located in our courtyard by the beautiful (Raudanjoki) riverbank. Forrest starts just outside the premises so leave the noise and lights of the city behind and come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Some of our reindeers live by the courtyard, we have winter walking track nearby forest and a perfect location for spotting the northern lights.

A sauna cabin on the shore of Lake Kitkajärvi that can be used in winter, with a barbecue hut, a rowboat and a paddleboard available for use. The sauna has a wood-fired stove and a shower, the kitchen has potable cold water, and there is a composting toilet. Linen and towels for two are included in the price. Request a quote if you want to stay for a longer period.
