Charming luxury cottage for four on the Finnish fell

A winter-inhabitable cottage built completely new in a traditional log cabin frame in 2019. In the cottage, you can relax in a hotel-level bed while watching the fireplace. The small kitchen is well equipped. The wonderful sauna heats up at the touch of a button. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of Suomutunturi, approx. 145 km from Rovaniemi airport. In addition to cross-country skiing and downhill skiing, the area has excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and hiking, even in the summer. The hotel rents skis and organizes excursions.

Idyllic school market in Maaninkavaara

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the old and idyllic school in its spacious upstairs apartment (k, oh, 2mh, sauna/toilet/shower, 2 hallways). The beautiful surroundings offer wonderful outdoor opportunities - the ski trail to the nearby hills starts from the yard, the adjacent lake allows ice fishing, in the summer you can hike and pick berries in the nearby hills, a rowing boat is waiting on the school beach. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The apartment and courtyard are well suited for families with children.

This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax in the midst of pure nature. The cottage is located in a small village in the middle of the Lapland wilderness. Here you can go skiing, snowshoeing and fishing. In addition, we organise snowmobile trips according to your wishes. The cottage is about 75km to the city of Rovaniemi.
