Welcome! The house is situated by the foot of internationally famous "Hammars Backar" , some 15 km east off medieval town of Ystad. Between the house and the sea it´s only about 300 meters of untouched nature ( the whole area is a Nature Reserve)! Cows rule! The house is very big, and hosts an architectual practice as well as the spacious living area. However, the office is closed during the summer, and you´ll get the house and garden all to yourselves. The village Hammar is very small and peaceful, a perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation. Livingroom with sofabed and TV. Sleeping room 1. with 3 beds, sleeping room 2. with a double bed. This is a remote place for nature lovers or to stress down! Situated in the middle of a nature reserve, the guest house is at the edge of a forest and offers a view into the valley. The reserve is known for its large variety of wild life including eagles and some rare frog species. At night the stars are visible from your window. Huset är endast 1 km från kusten och Valleberga utsiktsplats. Närmaste badstrand är Löderupstrandbad. Backagården har kafé i närheten. Kåsebergahamn med restauranger och Ales stenar ligger 2 km bort. Det är nära till Hagestads naturreservat med milslånga sandstränder, Daghammarskölds Backåkra och Glimmingehus.

This house was originally the old fire station that used to be in the village, but has since been carefully renovated and retained its charm with the raw stone walls, ceiling beams and beautiful stone floors. A short walk will take you down to the charming old fishing village in the harbor. There is a smokehouse, restaurants, shops, café and ice cream kiosk.
