The works exhibited in the gallery are outsider art created daily at Yamana Workshop, an art center and welfare facility in Koga City, Shiga Prefecture. In addition to the works exhibited in the building, original package art can also be purchased at the vending machine in front of the hotel. You can watch Amazon Prime movies on the large screen TV in the room. It is also probably the only room with an open-air bath in Osaka Namba. Please wear a swimsuit and close the curtains to slowly enjoy the resort mood.

Reikyo Garden "Garden Tatami Studio"

In Nishinari-ku, Osaka-shi, you can still find old Japanese row houses. We had a unique accommodation designed by T2P Architects, a disciple of the world-famous architect Tadao Ando. The small roof blends in with the neighborhood's appearance, while the metal facade creates a vivid contrast with its surroundings. At the same time, the concept of "co-housing" combines independent units that ensure privacy with a central garden that encourages interaction between residents. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Reikaku Yasaka | Gion | Historical Machiya

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo

kyoto villa soso (Near Kyoto station)
