This house is located on the quiet seaside of Shodoshima Town. It is a house built just to watch the sunset over the sea. Unfortunately, we have a lot of stairs on the terrace, so it's not barrier free. (I will do my best to help with your luggage, etc.) However, at the top of the high terrace, the calm and beautiful sea of Setouchi, sparkling with sunlight, and the changing faces of the crimson sunset await you every day. Please enjoy an extraordinary time and forget about the time. You enter the room by climbing the terrace stairs. It is not barrier free. Please be sure to have an adult accompany you when going up and down stairs with small children. Also, there are many stairs on rainy days, so it may be inconvenient. Also, the road in front of the inn is not paved. Please note that this may cause some inconvenience. There are many insects because there is a lot of nature around the house. Insects may enter when windows or doors are opened or closed. (Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you don't like insects.

The price is the same for 1 or 2 people, and an additional charge per person will be incurred from the 3rd person. The first floor is the living room and the second floor is the bedroom. Size: 108.5 ㎡ (1st floor 85 ㎡, 2nd floor 23.5 ㎡) If you need more than one bedroom, there are 2 Japanese-style rooms with 10 tatami mats in the back building (with separate entrances, toilets, and verandas), so you can use a total of 3 bedrooms. Please let us know at the time of booking. A total of 160 m² of space is available with an additional 51.5 m². For breakfast, we provide coffee, bread, butter, and eggs from Oniwa Farm. An old private house that was renovated by the owner "JP", who loves DIY, who dreamed of an ideal life and renovated a 150-year-old house. You can enjoy the Irori, a traditional Japanese sunken fireplace, and the world's only egg-shaped sauna. The egg sauna is especially recommended, as it was created with a shape that allows heat to circulate naturally. This is all handmade (DIY)! Feel both the heat of the wood stove in the sauna and the creative heat of JP. You can also enjoy hot pots and grilled fish skewers in the hearth, which has been restored by DIY. Please bring all your own food, so please come after buying it at a nearby supermarket. The location is a region called "Kobo" in the foothills of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture. Nishi-Awakura Village, which is becoming a popular topic as a village of local creation and migration, is just around the corner, so I think it would be interesting to stop by on the way.

Built in the early Showa era and long used as a tea ceremony classroom, the townhouse has been reborn as a private rental inn, "Kyomachiya Cottage karigane". It is a 1-minute walk to the hot springs and Daikokuji Temple, which has deep ties to tea.
