Just 300m from us you find the bus station, also near by is a super market, the Castle of Plaue and a park. We are right near the water, you are welcome to bring your kayak or a bike. It can be left in the yard, when not used. There is plenty of free parking on the street.

Für exzessive Partys ist unser Hof leider nicht geeignet. Unser Haus wurde ca. 1850 erbaut. Wohnhaus & Scheune des denkmalgeschützten 3-Seiten-Hofs sind im Eichen-Fachwerk errichtet. Um das Haus stehen 10 Hochzeitslinden. Im November, wenn die Linden zurückgeschnitten sind, ist das Haus in seiner ganzen Pracht zu sehen. Ab Mai verschwindet es dann langsam hinter schattenspendendem Blätterwerk, und bleibt so den ganzen Sommer über herrlich kühl...

The old town of Tangermünde with all its sights, cafes, restaurants and shops is only a few minutes' walk away (approx. 400 m). In addition, you will find the harbor promenade, the Tangier and the Elbe wetlands in the immediate vicinity (about 300 m). Our apartment is the ideal base for exploring the old town of Tangermünde and the Elbe landscape.

Gommern is a small town in the countryside near Magdeburg (15 km). In summer, nearby lakes invite you to swim (free access). Long walks or a short bike ride – we have plenty of nature to offer and are happy to provide excursion tips. As a professional violin maker, we have a sense of detail. In our guest apartment, stylish baroque elements from the origin of the house combine with the most modern equipment possible. This combination guarantees authenticity and coziness. During the renovation, we tried to get as much of the original substance as possible. Whole warning: A low ceiling beams dating back to 1775 crosses the space.
