Nostalgic and cozy living room with unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster yard and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was erected on the farm, the remains of the house were set up as a living room until the barn and today appears as an intimate and cozy little house with lots of history and soul. All amenities are of course completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden provides an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

🏠 Modern and comfortable accommodation with 3 bedrooms, all with double beds. 🩳 A private 40°C hot tub is available all year round from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. 🚗 Parking in the courtyard with EV charging stations included. 👶A travel cot, changing table and high chair can be provided on request. 🚲A short walk to the bus stop, city bikes, grocery stores and the shopping centre. The city centre is about 15 minutes away. ❤️🐈Please note: Our cat, Mia, lives on the property, but she might be in the laundry room, where she has food available and her own door.

House with 3 floors. Two bedrooms upstairs and one in the furnished basement. There is a bathroom on the ground floor and in the basement. Kitchen and living room in one, with lovely views and two verandas. The house is located in a very peaceful area on our farm, at the end of a road. Here you can relax and let time stand still. There is nice hiking terrain just outside the door. You can walk on trails in the fields, or take the car to popular destinations in the area such as the Pulpit Rock, Kjerag, Jærstrendene, Kongeparken, Sandnes and Stavanger.

A stone's throw from the house you will find an eldorado of restaurants with food from all corners of the world and including two Michelin star restaurants. Here you get everything you dream of. The house has modern standard, totally renovated bathroom in 2025, three spacious bedrooms with a total of 6 beds, in addition there is a baby bed. Here you will enjoy your stay.

Gamlahuset by the sea - near Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.
