Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Intracoastal Waterway

We loved our beach stay at Rhonda's place! It was our first time to Holden Beach and it was awesome to stay in a clean, comfortable place. It was an easy to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. Beach supplies were at the house for our use and the outside shower was super helpful. Rhonda was responsive and kind and we would definitely recommend her place! Also, she provided great coffee for our stay!!

It was our second stay here and we feel right at home there. We love the spacious back porch and large fenced yard for our dogs. It is very walkable to the beach but we were able to get parking by the beach access. The house is well stocked with everything you need and even lots of Tupperware! The owners have been renovating and adding to the appeal since the last time we came five months ago. We can’t wait to come back again.

Just as it was pictured and described. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of suggestions for food and things to do. Would book again! One unexpected event before my trip was breaking my foot but we still kept the trip. The place had a ramp and other amenities that allowed me to be able to still get around the property/house pretty well.

We had the best time!! We were able to bring our boat and park it at the boat dock. I will say if you have a bigger boat I don’t know if you will be able to park there all weekend, but not a far drive at all to a boat ramp. The place was very clean and had all the things you will need! There is even dog toys and a bed! Betsy was super helpful and nice. We will definitely come and stay many more times.

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

The pictures does no justice. An amazingly beautiful home. The backyard is a relaxing oasis. James was very tentative in responding to our questions. My family and I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This place was amazing, I would book here again and again. This will be our go to spot from here on out, my wife and I fell in love with this place. It is cozy, quiet and relaxing, the atmosphere was perfect. The host provides everything from beach towels to chairs and more. The location is perfect!!!! The foodlion is right around the corner with the beach less than 10 mins away. This place brought back great memories from when my parents had a place here in Holdens Beach.

We loved being so close to the beach, the pool, and the pier. Pier bar drinks and service were great! We recommend the Bahama Mama and The Painkiller. The condo was very clean and inviting. The deck was perfect for our morning croissants and fresh fruit with coffee. We enjoyed watching the waves and listening to seabirds as they soared above the sea. Just a short drive to the Boardwalk gave us some great shopping and restaurants. We recommend Britt’s donuts. Don’t buy just one -cash only! Matthew was the perfect host! He answered my questions quickly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Perfect week for us to rest and relax!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

I had a great stay at this beautiful condo in Myrtle Beach! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-stocked—perfect for two people. It had everything I needed for a comfortable trip. The location was perfect with a lot of restaurant, shop, and attraction options just minutes away, which made it easy to enjoy the area. The parking garage was a bit tight, but it didn’t take away from the overall amazing experience. I’d definitely love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area! One of the best parts was being able to sit on the balcony with the ocean right there and waking up to the view from bed! The resort also has many other amenities and activities on the property with easy beach access. Not to mention the water pressure was amazing. Jessica was very helpful and responsive. Great stay!

My husband and I loved staying here. Very easy to access, clean and cozy. Great location (close to great restaurants) and the view is beautiful! It had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. We would definitely stay again!

it was the perfect setting for our family vacation with our adult children and their significant others. In fact, it was the perfect back drop on the dock for my son to propose to his girlfriend! wonderful memories here! peaceful and beautiful setting and short drive to the beach.

Another great stay at Boho Studio. This was our third time here and it’s still just as nice as the first time. Michelle is a great host and offers a beautiful place to stay.

WONDERFUL!!! Condo was super clean, beautiful area. Loved the beach theme and all the decorations. Boardwalk is right outside the front door. Easy walking to bars, restaurants, rides, etc. Condo just as described. Super comfortable bed, well stocked towels and linens. (we even had beach towels left for us to use). Pet friendly unit. Stephanie and Josh were super responsive to any questions i had. Pool was nice and refreshing. Loved that the unit was gated and parking was great. Only time we had to get in the car was for ice and beverages. The guests even provided 2 beach chairs and an umbrella that was put out daily until 7pm. THAT WAS GREAT!! No lugging chairs and umbrella in and out of the beach. Shower was great. Hot water with wonderful shower head. All start up supplies we needed were provided. Already looking to book again in the future. Great place for couples with small children, pets or just a couples getaway. You won't be disappointed in this place!!!!

The house was steps from the beach.Loved the updated bathroomsThe screened in porch was wonderful you could hear the ocean at night. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. Loved that there wasn't any steps as we are getting up in age. We hope to come back.

This home was in a quiet neighborhood that was easy to find. The home was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

This was a fantastic spot for our short beach getaway! The property is neat, clean, and offers so many thoughtful amenities—we truly appreciated all the little details. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware and dinnerware you could need, and all the appliances are full-size, making it super easy to whip up dinner. The two A/C units kept the house at a consistent, comfortable temperature, and we loved having smart TVs included for our downtime. There’s so much to do nearby, and the beach is just a quick 10-minute drive away. The property is also conveniently set back from the road down a gravel drive, giving you a sense of privacy. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back!

Great place, beach house energy!! Walkable to the beach, nice dock at the end of the road. Close to great restaurants and still convenient to Holden & Southport (25-30 min drive) we went to both for dinner. Also has great amenities with the beach equipment they have for guest, helped us as we didn’t come fully prepared as we normally do! Johnny (their Pup) was a sweet touch to say hey to when he was out with his people, the hostess, whom are both very friendly!!!! :) I’d recommend this house to anyone to stay at!

Perfect place to rest & relax for what I needed. Hosts were responsive when messaged which is a must for me, great communication. Place was in pristine condition when I opened the door. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

We love staying at vintage beach houses that are not your usual cookie-cutter type of places that are so common. I love that this house was built by family. You can feel the love, history, and general good vibes in this house. Laura was very helpful and generous with answering all my questions, which I really appreciated! We loved sitting on the back porch (feels like a treehouse!) and watching the birds in the morning and the sunset over the marsh in the evening. It’s a short and straightforward drive to the beach and a very pleasant do-able walk (just over a mile) if you want to get some extra steps in. Laura has everything you need for the beach - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, wagon. Beds and furniture were very comfy and we felt right at home at Laura’s place! Thank you, Laura, Brian, and Melissa for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I loved the closeness of the ocean and we were able to walk everyday to the Beach. The house worked out perfectly for us and we would stay there again. Our trip was a great success and we were able to relax and enjoy the beach. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
