Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Île de Ré

We loved our holiday in La Bois Plage and Alison’s house was the perfect place as our base. What a beautiful home, the swimming pool was fantastic & we used it multiple times per day. We hired bikes and cycled all over Il de Re but La Bois felt like home very quickly. Alison is very responsive & Axelle, the local host, is great as well. Hope we get a chance to return. Stunning. The location is simply superb, utterly private with the most stupendous view of the sea and, at low tide, the beach below the house. The grounds are extensive with several places where one can sit and contemplate the sea and watch the sunset. The house itself is equally superb. Comfortable, beautifully designed, spacious and with a lovely ambiance. The kitchen is one the best equipped we have ever encountered in a holiday rental. The location, just 10-15 minutes walk to the main square of La Noue, with its daily market, excellent butcher & fromagerie, the fishmonger, the boulangerie and winemongers, is excellent, too. We loved every moment and would love to come back. Oh and did I mention the ping pong table?

Typical, pleasant, spacious and quiet house for a family stay on Île de Ré. Ideal for visiting the island and its surroundings. Close to the beach and the couarde market. Note that parking for a vehicle is on the street facing the house, so can be problematic during busy periods to park more than one vehicle. Effective communication with the host, very responsive in case of solicitation.

Delightful little house very close to a beautiful stretch of beach with hardly a soul in sight. Quaint and rustic, ideal if you want total peace and quiet.

A great stay in La Couarde in this accommodation Clean, very well decorated, very well equipped, very comfortable, with a pleasant and well-equipped outdoor area and close to the city centre, the tourist office and shuttles for the whole island (ideal when you come without a car) Some suggestions: - Offer a map of the island and shuttle schedules (we left some) - make the operating instructions for the household appliances available: a little complicated with the coffee maker....😊

Beautiful and spacious house in very central location in Le Bois, close to the market, shops etc. Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely courtyard garden. Our party of 6 adults had a most enjoyable stay, enjoying both cooking and eating delicious local produce at home and going out to local restaurants.

We had a great time at this lovely house. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated, has a lovely garden, and is very quiet and private. The welcome was very nice and an added bonus was generously allowing our children to play with some beach toys stored at the house. The house is five minutes from an excellent bakery, pizza place and bar / cafe and ten minutes walk from a lovely beach.

Diane's house was a gem, and perfect for our short stay. Impeccable and responsive communication, super clean, practical and welcoming house! The unusual garden was great for our evenings. Perfect Airbnb host in the rules of the art. We will definitely come back for other stays.

Great apartment and very convenient walking distance to all amenities. Christele is very sweet. The parking is a bit expensive (approx 20eur/day) but the location is convenient. There is no air conditioning so as the weather heats up in the summer it might be uncomfortable to sleep. It was on the edge last week. Opening the windows is loud and welcome mosquitos. Everything else is good.

impeccable for 3 days and 2 nights with arrival at the port by boat. Exactly what we were looking for. Small, nice terrace for aperitif, spacious and pleasant old accommodation. Well-equipped for 6. We'll be happy to go back.

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

The apartment is in a great location, minutes walk to the port with restaurants and shops on our doorstep and close to markets etc. Patricia who met us was very helpful and friendly. Our stay was lovely.

We had a great stay in this fantastic apartment; beautiful and immaculately presented, stylishly decorated and furnished, comprehensively equipped. The best location, with large windows directly overlooking Saint-Martin port. Big thanks to Majid and Ellyn, they are great hosts, very charming, helpful, friendly and responsive. Very nice stay. House as described, well maintained, good beds, kitchen very well equipped, everything as in the photos (except for the terrace furniture that is already a bit old). La Flotte was the most beautiful place for us on the Ile de Re. Professional handover by the concierge, good restaurant tips. We had very hot days and would have liked air conditioning. Highly recommend overall.

The house perfectly reflects the description and Jeanne is really a caring person giving advices and sharing also her knowledge and tips ans tricks about the regions. The house was super clean. The house is perfectly located, 3 minutes walk from the daily market with local producers and from The haven and the restaurants. The street is super quiet as only accessible to people living in the street. Ars en Ré was for us the best town as it combines the small shops, some restaurants, the daily market and you can reach the other towns easily by bike. We had a great week in Jeanne’s house.

We loved the house... incredible location close to the sea and the centre of La Flotte, but away from the noise and bustle. The house sits in the middle of its own walled garden, safe for pets and very, very private. Lots of space to park 2/3 cars as well though the little road to the house is quite narrow. Our mini fitted fine! Audrey and Catherine were super responsive too. Thank you La Flotte for a wonderful holiday!

Beautiful, large, well laid out and tastefully decorated house. Terrace with a very pleasant reclosable pool. Close to the center of Ars. We had a great week there with 9 people.

We booked the weekend of the ascension with our children and grandchildren for our 40th wedding anniversary. There were 8 adults and 2 children. The description of the house is completely consistent with reality, the house is very functional and the decoration is not impersonal, we feel like it's a friend who is offering us his house the organisation of the stay was perfect both in terms of contacts with Emmanuel and with Valérie who managed our arrival on site and explained everything to us about the house In short, a very good family stay with good weather We all really want to come back!!! Typical house of Ile de Ré, very pleasant with its garden and summer kitchen. It's big and well laid out. Its location is perfect . A stone's throw from the port and its shops, like the Arnérault beach. Alexandra is very welcoming. Don't hesitate to book their parking because in high season finding a spot can be complicated. We had a lovely stay .
