Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Iceland

We had a great stay at Kristina's place. Everything very tidy and when we had a small issue understanding the door mechanism, we got help immediately!! Would stay happily there any time again.

Lloyd and Raggis place was wonderful. We were sad to only be there 2 nights. Lots of space and we walked into the main centre both days so the location was great. Lloyd was very welcoming and extremely responsive when we had questions. It is part of their home but a completely separate section on a different level, so you don’t come into contact with anyone :) thanks for having us Lloyd and Raggi!

If you are looking for a relaxed stay in an apartment with a really pretty view on the mountains, look no further. All amenities are really clean and everything you could need is there.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jon’s Penthouse. It was easy walking distance to all the main sights in Reykjavik, plus there were many restaurants and groceries close by. Since there was an elevator to the fourth floor, it was easy to manage with luggage. Even though it is in the city, we never heard any noise. The apartment is very tidy and has all the amenities needed for a nice stay. We did not totally understand how to use the hot spot, but did not need it since we had eSIMs. Each evening we watched a variety of movies on Netflix, which were much appreciated. Although it was pleasant when we arrived at the end of May, by the beginning of June a huge storm arrived and it was so windy, I could barely stand when walking. However, Jon’s place is a warm and quiet oasis in a storm.

Beautiful apartment with an excellent location, we enjoyed a great space with comfortable beds. Silla is very friendly and her husband too, we were able to greet them both. If you have the chance to stay in this apartment, don't think twice.

Heiða’s place was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and Heiða was a wonderful host. We would love to return in the future!

Kristín and Adela’s apartment was one of the best places we stayed during our Ring Road trip! My family of four absolutely loved it. The location in Ólafsvík was ideal—just a short walk to the grocery store, a nearby waterfall, and the colorful rainbow street. We especially enjoyed the peaceful harbor views from the living room window, watching the boats come and go. The apartment was spacious, cozy, and even better than the photos. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The modern kitchen had all the essentials, including a dishwasher, and the large bathroom with both a washer and dryer was a real bonus—especially welcome after days on the road with only carry-on luggage. Communication was smooth and pleasant—she was kind, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. We felt completely at home and would gladly return to this gem if we're ever back in Ólafsvík. Thank you again for a fantastic stay!

The place is huge and well equipped. Directly overlooking the sea. Warm and cosy with a nice atmosphere.

Beautiful location and excellent accommodations.

The house was great - extremely well located to see all that is available in Myvatn and well equipped. We were easily able to cook in the kitchen and although the house was small, there was plenty of room for our group of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens). Our only complaint was that the lights outside of the house couldn't be shut off. They were on a timer and stayed on from 6 pm to 6 am. They shone in all the windows all night, requiring us to use the blackout shades, and made it difficult to see and photograph the northern lights, which were fantastic while we were there. We had to go down the road to take photos. Consider this if you are looking for isolation and darkness - the home is located super close to attractions, yet far from everything, except it's own light pollution.

This was the perfect stop on our travels through Iceland. My kids loved the sheep, the stream and the grass to run in. The house was clean and included all amenities. Our group of 9 was comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was 1 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a half bath upstairs with the kitchen and two bedrooms. The washer and dryer were very helpful considering that this stop was a week into our trip. I would definitely stay here again.

Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. Great stay in beautiful environment.

Our group—three middle aged women—loved our stay at Hrifunes Belvedere. The viewshed stands out as the shining star of this property, featuring rolling pastures and snowcapped mountains accompanied by the charming sounds of sheep and birdsongs. Overall, the house was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. All beds were quite comfortable (firm), and the sofa was perfect for relaxing after a long day of adventure. We especially appreciated the expedient communication and hospitable assistance with the hot tub. I would definitely visit again!

We had a short, but very lovely stay in Arnarstapi. Anna Maria is the consummate hostess; she provided a wealth of information before we arrived to make sure that we had everything necessary for a carefree and interesting stay. Our 3 days did not give us enough time to see everything, but it did whet our appetite for a return visit. The house is very conveniently located for traveling around the Snaefellsness peninsula. We would highly recommend the nearby National Park Visitors Center for any additional information you might need.We had excellent local meals out and were very thankful to have such a well equipped kitchen to cook in when we wanted to. Thank you so much, Anna Maria, we are already planning a return trip to Iceland with our children and grandchildren and hope to be able to stay with you again.

This was a great place, quiet, comfortable and well appointed. Fredrik was very helpful, responding to my request promptly.

The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable with a lovely view of the little harbor nearby. It provided my son and I with a base to explore many of Iceland's attractions using our car rental. Getting into the city takes about 12 minutes by car and around 45 minute by bus. We opted to cook at home since there's not a lot of restaurants nearby. Generally speaking this was a fantastic place to stay and made our whole week in Iceland stress free and relaxing. The apartment also has great water pressure and lots of warm water!

Very well equipped and comfortable space. Good kitchen, plenty of hot water for showers and a comfy bed.

Petur’s place is right in the main district with walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Weather wasn’t good but we were comfy inside this place. It’s nice 👍 place to stay.

Wow! This was literally the best place we stayed in Iceland and also maybe the best AirBnB experience we've had (and there have been A LOT over the years). Hilmar is a GREAT host -- and the apartment is both quirky, clean, peaceful, super comfortable AND in the middle of all the action in Reykjavik. We loved the art, the kitchen, the adorable bathroom, the sun streaming in off the deck, the bakery down the street. We cannot rave enough about this place. Book it if you can. Oh -- and parking was surprisingly easy despite it being centrally located.
