Greystone guesthouse is located on the sheep farm Holt, Thistle and guests are welcome to participate in our farm work. Holt stands high in the country, so it's a unique view of the town-loaded, of the vast honesty and coastline of Thistle. The houses are 25 sqm and well equipped, with a kitchen, bathroom and sofa corner. Breakfast is served in baskets and is included in the price.

Beautiful 40m2 cottage for 2 people, great view to mountains and northern lights (Aurora Borealis) in winter. This home includes 1 living room , 1 bedroom (default double beds) and 1 bathroom with shower. In the kitchen is a Nespresso machine, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and kitchenware. Featuring a terrace with mountain views and a hot tub. In the house is a smart TV. The unit has a bed that can both be double and twin, double is default but make twin for a request.

It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

In the main building there are restaurants, a bar and a lounge for guests. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner and the bar offers a selection of drinks. On site, you can book local tours and tickets to attractions. The hotel is a place of cultural meetings such as music concerts, cabarets, shows.

Berunes Smithy - Historic Tiny House by the Fjord

An unique Tiny House, a compact living space for friends. It is part of the Historic Farmhouse, in a former Smithy. The House is opposite the Community Church and Graveyard. Close by the popular Berunes Restaurant, open from June to August ´26. The restaurant takes pride in serving an ever-changing menu inspired by local ingredients, ensuring a delightful culinary journey during your stay.

The Blackhouse

The rental includes the first floor only of The Blackhouse: 3 twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk in shower and a living room with a tv. Kitchenette that includes: a microwave, small fridge, sink, kettle and coffee, dishes and cutlery. No stove or pots or pans. The rental is not shared with anyone else. We live on the second floor and have a separate entrance.

The house has a total of 7 bedrooms with 3 shared bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen with a dish washer and a living / dining room area. Towels are included along with a hairdryer and access to washing machine and a dryer for guests.
