Monthly Rentals in Iceland

This cottage is so cute, the location is beautiful, and it was a perfect setup for watching the northern lights display! We only stayed 1 night but would stay here again and for longer. One thing to note is that the house number was not included in the check-in instructions on Airbnb. We were told Google maps would take us right to the place, but it indicated a different cottage than the one we booked (there are several cottages in a row). So I looked at the listing and check-in instructions but couldn’t find a house number, except the one shown in the photos, which is also not the same cottage! We almost entered the wrong cottage when another couple showed up to check-in for it, and thank goodness or else it would’ve been more embarrassing. Finally, I remembered the message from the host where they said cottage #4. Upon reflection, I should’ve checked messages sooner, but to avoid this completely, the house # should be included in the check-in instructions.

Absolutely beautiful setting and a very quiet and peaceful stay. Exactly what we wanted. 😊 Located near several spots on our to-do list which was a big bonus! Would definitely stay again!
