We had a wonderful stay; they were there to greet us. The place was clean quiet and comfortable. The view was wonderful.

We stayed for 2 weeks in August 24 in this gorgeous house. The 3 of us and our dog had an awesome time there and enjoyed all the great amenities this house offers: Starting from comfy beds, clean bathrooms and a small but really well equipped kitchen over the absolutely beautiful garden with lots of fruit (fig, pear, pomgranate etc.) trees, a nice patio and the big pool. The communication with Roberto (house owner) was exceptional - he was very proactive and informed us in all cases when the gardener was showing up, or when he took care of the pool. In these occasions he also supplied us with nice pastries from Rome - grazie again for this kind treatment. Roberto also organized a wine tasting/menu in the vicinity for us, which was another highlight of this vacation. We can only recommend this house and Roberto and his wife Marta as perfect hosts, and are grateful for being given the opportunity to stay there. We will come back in the future!

We had a wonderful holiday and are very grateful to Flavia for being responsive and accommodating. And massive thanks to Giuseppe who helped us so much throughout the week, from greeting us on arrival and providing advice and suggestions, and saying farewell when we left. The house was beautifully presented with great attention to detail: comfortable, equipped with what we needed, tidy and clean. The gardens were gorgeous, lots of flowers when we visited in late May, and the trees around the perimeter create a sense of seclusion and tranquility, and yet you can see Trevi up on the hill and are in a great location for getting to shops, train station, roads etc. I've never seen so many different species of bird in one garden, it was wonderful! I would be delighted to have the chance to go back and would happily recommend this lovely house to my friends and family. We really felt able to relax and didn't want to leave! Grazie mille, again.

Adelaide’s place is very peaceful -- you can hear the birds chirping in the garden and there's a comfortable hammock a few steps from the front door and an outdoor shower nearby -- and yet it's only a few minutes from Atigliano. Important for me: Adelaide is a dog lover and was very kind and helpful with my dog, Mocha. The only small drawback is that the indoor shower is tiny. I'm tall with an average build and could hardly fit in it. But the lovely outdoor shower (which provides privacy) made up for it and is a treat on a hot day.

Adele is the best host we have had in our history of AirBNBing. She helped us when we got stranded, she was proactive with her communications, and extremely friendly. She is an angel, and we truly enjoyed staying at her property. The property itself was gorgeous, spacious, with stunning views, super clean, and had more than required amenities. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return to Adele 100% given another chance. THANK YOU!

The house is gorgeous, extremely comfortable and welcoming but not fussy or cluttered. Spotless, with high quality linens and tasteful furniture/decor. The kitchen is better than the pictures show, and we cooked quite a bit during our stay. The bedrooms were perfect for us, my sister had the upstairs suite and I had the queen bedroom next to my two daughters in two twin beds. The grounds are stunning. We were too early in the season to use the pool, but the hillside, valley, and olive trees were straight out of a storybook. We were all sad to leave!

Donkeys and Roses is an enchanting paradise in the breathtaking Italian countryside. The house is historic and elegant with a gorgeous porch and upstairs deck for enjoying breakfast or an evening glass of wine. We loved swimming in the luxurious, well maintained swimming pool, cooking in the magnificent kitchen and then relaxing on one of the gorgeous living room sofas. Nearby, there are many enchanting villages seemingly untouched by tourism. Our day trip to Rome was quick and easy as we parked our car inexpensively for the day at the local train station and then took a direct train to and from the centre of Rome. Enrico is the perfect gentleman and our communication was always a pleasure. We both agreed that this is the best Airbnb that we have stayed at over the years. Everything about our stay was perfect and I can’t imagine a more amazing Italian villa than Donkeys and Roses.

The farmhouse is FABULOUS! We stayed in this beautiful place with 7 people, my whole family! Each room matched the description, clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and mosquito nets very useful in the countryside! My parents really enjoyed the suite on the second floor, and the bathrooms were equipped with comfortable showers and hot water. The icing on the cake is definitely the outdoor space! The garden as far as the eye can see, the silence, the clean air... the hammock! We had a barbecue with other friends on holiday Sunday night, and the space met everyone's expectations. It was very difficult to leave the farmhouse on Monday morning, and waking up today not surrounded by nature has put even more emphasis on how wonderful our stay was! technical information: the city centre is a short walk away, but like all the villages in the area, expect quite steep climbs and descents! it's still worth it! all the nearby villages are 25 minutes away by car! GREAT!

So sadly the power went out in the middle of our stay, and we ended up having to leave. However, when something like that happens, you learn how responsive the host is, and Patrizia was great. She both did her best to try and fix the problem quickly, and when it couldn't be and we decided to go, she offered a full refund of the remaining stay. Aside from that, the house is in a jaw-droppingly beautiful location with so many great windows that you feel like you're in a painting whether you're inside or out. It was a stunning place to wake up and be every day and we were sorry to leave. Beds & seating & bathrooms were great. Tips: rent a car with good under-ground clearance to get there; the last stretch of road was a little rough. Kitchen had salt and sugar, you'll want to get other staples & seasoning & extra paper goods. There is a giant CONAD superstore in Fara Sabina about 25 min away with everything.

This was our 5th trip to Orvieto and this AirBnB is the absolute winner. We called it our Palazzito--small palace. Everything was top notch--from the decorations to the furnishings to the amenities. And the rooftop patio is stupendous Highly recommended!

Amazing old country house with a beautiful Olive Garden in the middle of nature. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

Great house, comfortable and very atmospheric, with a lot of character. Excellent location just outside of the walls of the town, perfect base to explore Umbria. The house is spacious, very well equipped with everything you can possibly need during your stay. Eleonora is very welcoming, helpful and responsive host. We enjoyed our 1-week stay in Villa Dorata so much and would highly recommend it for your future vacation in Todi/Umbria!

Calcata alone is worth the trip. Christian's spa is an oasis of relaxation. We spent our honeymoon there and, despite the photos, were incredibly surprised at how beautiful this accommodation is. We highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

The road to the house is not paved and pretty bumpy but once you get to the house it is a pleasure to be there. The house has everything and has a great view of the valley below it. It has a pool on a lower level and below that a small field for soccer or volleyball. A lot of stairs both inside and outside. The surrounding area is interesting as it is an archeologists dream with Roman ruins within walking distance everywhere.

What a breath of fresh air. We loved Rome but everyone should take a break on their journey and come stay a few days to unwind, drink wine and smell the Jasmin in this beautiful place. Stefania’s place is much better than the photos because the love and care Stefania puts into every detail only comes across in person. Great for a group if you are lucky enough to snag a couple units.

Mario's welcome with a good bottle of red wine and local cookies was a great start for a long peaceful week. The house is located in one of the nicest spots in Umbria. We could have stayed there much longer in order to experience all the finest places Umbria has to offer. Tsvi

Apartment is located in small historical house in center of fantastic historical town. So so many splendid views, buildings and streets in the town. Apartment has excellent cozy design too. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Host is super responsible and very kind.

Roberta's lovely annexe met our expectations and made our stay more than comfortable. Roberta welcomed us two hours earlier than expected and, as if we were family, she had a delicious apple cake and a bottle of sparkling wine for my partner's birthday, which I had told her about at the time of booking. As if that weren't enough, the fridge was full of all kinds of yogurt, milk and fruit juice. In the kitchen, there were multiple varieties of tea, coffee both in powder and in pods, biscuits and croissants, toast, and various types of jams. Roberta was nice, kind, helpful, affable and her B&B fully reflects her. Very comfortable bed, very fragrant towels, shampoo, bubble bath, hair dryer of decent power. In short, the perfect place to stay to comfortably visit Spoleto and its surroundings, but above all to enjoy healthy relaxation in an estate surrounded by nature.

Although the apartment was a little basic, it was as described, so perfect for me. The location was excellent, right in the town and near all the amenities. I’m sure I would have had an excellent nights sleep in the comfortable bed, if it hadn’t been for the local dogs barking all night! Although I did not meet Maurizio in person, he communicated well, and was very helpful. A great host.

This is such a beautiful area! We had a long weekend out of the city and it was perfect. The views are stunning, and the place comes equipped with everything you might need. Elena was responsive and helpful. A hidden gem!
