Polite and friendly host. The accommodation was well appointed and had a lot of charm. Ample space for our family and a beautiful location. Recommended.

The cottage was lovely and in a secluded location surrounded by bird-song and trees, just a short drive from Egilsstadir. The deck outside is expansive and would be great in warmer weather; as it is, the hot tub was terrific after a day of exploring, and for viewing the northern lights! The bedrooms are European-tiny without a lot of room for "stuff", but with only two of us, we were able to spread out a bit and it all worked out just fine. We very enjoyed our stay in this lovely family getaway.

This place is completely secluded from civilization. One hour from town, along an unpaved road. The scenery is stunning and beautiful. This house is at the end of a fjord, in a village of less than 10 people. No stores, restaurants, or traffic!!!! Peaceful and a place in this world to be one with nature. The house is amazing! Beautiful view of the fjord!! Waterfalls in abundance on the drive down and up.

Enjoyed our stay. There were 6 of us and the house was perfect and great to have 2 bathrooms. The space was clean and beds were comfortable. Would certainly stay again.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. Short walk to local shop. Comfortable beds and the building oozes character. This was a perfect place to stay for our large group doing a roadtrip of Iceland.

A great house in Hofn. We loved it and were so comfortable that we would have liked to stay longer. It's not the typical AirBnB home-business. It looks like the real house where the owners live with all its comforts and belongings. You feel like you are in the house of a friend who has lent you his house for a few days. Thank you for everything.

Aðalheiður is a wonderful host out of all the Airbnbs I have been to. She is extremely friendly, considerate and quite supportive through our stay. She even left a message to check if everything is ok, as she realised we didn’t check in before midnight as we are driving from south Iceland. She is quite communicative and does respond quickly whenever we have a question. She even left a message to call her even though it is late in the night if we need anything. The place is amazing with beautiful surroundings. The place is so peaceful with breathtaking views. We had the previlige to play and spend time with her amazing sheep and horses.

The house is clean and warm and displayed with many cuddly toys. The owners and the puppy are very friendly and the breakfast is awesome. One night we went out without keys and the door was accidentally closed so we went to the owner’s house and asked for help. The owner was kind to us and gave us the spare key even it was already 11pm. Recommend to stay and enjoy the farm-style house😍

The host, Katrin, is very kind. I was happy to receive a warm message when I made the reservation. The room was very relaxing and warm. I can see beautiful mountains from the window. I would like to stay here again.

This place was perfect for our one night in Höfn. Bed was confortable, kitchen was nice to have, parking was easy, and place was located right down the street from a few restaurants. The exterior of the place had me a little worried when we drove up, but the inside was really nice.

Perfect spot for a night on the east side of the island - right in the city but only 5 minutes from complete darkness to see the northern lights!! Clean, well kept, and cute place!

This was truly one of the best Airbnbs we stayed at during our trip to Iceland! The house was incredibly cosy, clean, and welcoming — perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring. Another huge plus was the free parking right at the doorstep — so convenient! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland.

I loved the tiny town this AirBnB is in. It is so quiet and beautiful and has a nice small town vibe. The apartment is lovely and very well cared for. I loved that the bedroom got dark at night because not all the ones we’ve stayed in have.

Great stopover during our trip, well renovated kitchen and bathroom. Responsive hosts, well described and good value. Great for our family stay and the kids loved the in ground trampoline. One bedroom lacks a window which ends up being good for providing elusive darkness in the summer though with less airflow. Location in quiet neighborhood close enough to walk to the town and easy access to the highway.

I really enjoyed my stay and was sad that I was only there one night. I would have liked to stay there longer!
