Waterfront holiday rentals in Hjørundfjorden

This was our first visit to the Norway; traveling from North Carolina, USA. Åshild's place was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and clean. Perfect location for exploring the area. She was the perfect host, there if we needed her but not intrusive. We'd stay here again if we're ever back in the area. Highly recommend.

We were so happy with our 3-night stay at Linda’s home (5 adults). It was a perfect introduction to our Norway vacation. Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, great shower, everything we needed in the kitchen (though we did not cook anything except a frozen pizza). The view was spectacular and Linda’s gardens were so lovely. She was the perfect hostess…friendly and conversational when engaged but certainly not overshadowing. This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays! Highly recommend! Thank you, Linda!

What a great beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. The apartment is spacious with a beautiful terrace with panoramic views. The beds are nice. The kitchen and bathroom are also beautiful and there is everything you could need to prepare a simple meal. Communication was good, we didn't see each other 'live' but that wasn't necessary. We enjoyed it, thank you so much!

The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything a guest on the road might need—from kitchen essentials to thoughtful little touches that made it feel like home. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the host went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Extremely helpful and responsive—truly appreciated. We had a very nice stay at the apartment. The location was beautiful, directly at the sea and surrounded by mountains. The apartment self was nice, clean and very well equipped. Winnie was a very nice host, very friendly and gave us some good instructions. I would recommend the apartment to anyone.

Great place and location, close to some of the most beautiful fjords.

Our favorite stay on our 10 day trek across Norway! Well appointed kitchen, extremely comfortable beds, and very clean. The view was phenomenal. We watched the Loen Skylift go up and down the mountain from the dining room, deck and hot tub. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly evenings. Roar was extremely responsive and answered all my questions and gave great local recommendations. Highly recommended!

Beautiful little typical chalet with local decoration, trolls of all kinds. A magnificent view of the fjord from the bedroom balcony. Everything you need to cook. A lovely place to recommend.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Iren’s home. My husband and I were amazed with the views from the window and the layout of the home. We really felt right at home. We are very grateful that we got to enjoy such a beautiful home close to the city of Ålesund.

Great stay and absolutely beautiful house! Well located in a quiet and serene neighborhood with close proximity to town. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Alesund. The host Alex has been very friendly and supportive.

The holiday home was very clean and well equipped – everything important was available. The quiet location with a great view was particularly nice. The terrace invites you to relax – a relaxing stay all around!

Beautiful location, the view from the window is absolutely stunning. We walked around Bud and I feel like this place had the best view. The cabin was great and a helpful local map was provided. A short walk to a grocery store. We drove to the Atlantic Ocean Highway and the viewpoint at Molde. Highly recommend.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Margrete’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained — everything was exactly as described and even better in person. Margrete was a kind and thoughtful host, always quick to respond and happy to help with anything I needed. I felt completely comfortable and welcome throughout my stay. We had a wonderful time in Ålesund. The house is great right in front of the ferry and with an incredibly beautiful view of the city and the mountains. Ideal for excursions!

We enjoyed our stay at Elisabeth's place in Alesund. The place was super clean, is very well setup and had everything we needed for our weeklong stay and preparing meals. The location was great and the views were fantastic! Even more importantly, Elisabeth was a very nice host and always responsive and helpful. The soundbar speakers were also a nice bonus. The only small downside was that it was very hot in the bedroom and the windows could only be opened about 10cm which didn't cool the place, even with a fan running. The choice for sleeping was between keeping the shades and doors open for ventilation, or having a hot, dark room for sleeping. Even with quality eye masks, it was hard to balance the bedroom conditions. Just a heads-up, there is some noise from above of even late at night (walking loudly). Despite this, the place was great and we enjoyed our stay.

A great stay! We went there for a local beer festival, which was in a walking distance. The place is greatly located above a convinient store, so it was easy to get food etc. The place is like home comfortable and nice. The beds were super soft. Lise Katrin was super helpful and inviting host, where we got great information and communication.

We were delighted with this apartment. Beautiful decoration, good bedding, all possible comforts, dishwasher and laundry. Perfect bathroom. Very beautiful terrace. An excellent place.
