On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Cabin in the orchard "Borghildbu"

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if boat rental is applicable.

Cabin in Dalsbygd

Cozy cabin by the main road, a mile from Folkestad in Volda municipality. The cabin is located by itself and has a boathouse, here you can fish and swim. The cabin is simple and has four beds, in addition to a living room and kitchen in one with simple standard. There is a balcony and a garage where there is both a barbecue and sun loungers you can use. There is electric heating, but also a wood burning stove and wood that can be used.

Here is a sauna and wood-fired hot tub with sea water that can be rented and enjoy the tranquility and nice view of the Hjørundfjord. There is also a private harbor with the possibility to rent a boat. Price per day: 16 ft 15/20 horsepower NOK 600 plus petrol. 18 ft 30 horsepower NOK 850 per day. Gasoline is in addition to what the customer uses. Life jackets can be borrowed. All boat rentals are at your own risk
