The apartment was completed in 2021 and is located on the 2nd floor of a semi-detached house, in a small condominium, with fantastic views of Hjørundfjorden and the Sunnmørsalpen mountains. From the kitchen window and the living room, you can see the mountains Slogen and Saksa directly, with a beautiful view of the fjord that is only a few metres away from the house wall. There are 3 bedrooms with a double bed and an upper bunk in each room, and a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen.

On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin by the lake

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

Sæbøneset farm is located in Hjørundfjorden in Ørsta municipality. "Gamlehuset" is centrally located on the farmyard, and is equipped with all the amenities you need. The courtyard has no through traffic. The farm is located close to the sea and has its own harbor, boathouse, campfire area, etc., and is within walking distance to Sæbø center.

The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain.
