House holiday rentals in High Wycombe

The lovely home was ideal place to gather for a family wedding. There were 13 of us, including 4 babes and it worked very well. Masses of space inside the house and to be able to sit outside Thoroughly recommend it as a dreamy place to stage, perfect for all generations.

We stayed at the house for weekend of birthday celebrations, the house was great and the garden, pool and surroundings were fabulous. The kitchen area was perfect for gatherings and loads of space to unpack. The beds were really comfortable, maybe an option to have a couple of additional twin beds as the majority were all double. The house was spotless and with the weather being perfect we couldn’t have asked for more. Anne was accommodating in all requests and information about the local area. I would highly recommend this property, we had a fabulous weekend.

Ann’s house was exactly what we were looking for and we had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home. Everything was easy to find and use and the house had all the amenities we needed for a family of 5. The neighborhood was lovely and we loved walking around.

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

Our stay was exceptionally great. The train station is close which made our movements easy. The place was very clean. There was easy access to food and groceries. Chioma was very helpful and accommodating. We were able to check in earlier than the scheduled time and leave just as easy. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay! We had a great weekend at stable cottage, location exactly as described, beautiful setting and really comfy beds! The amenities in the place were great and we really enjoyed the log fire in the evenings. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the views are stunning, the master bedroom was very comfortable and the hot tub was brilliant! The lodge had everything we needed and Gogos restaurant is phenomenal right on the doorstep 🙂 just ensure you mention the lodge no so your discount comes off the bill because we didn’t, and booking is essential at weekends for breakfast or dinner, it gets very busy.

We’ve been staying in Airbnb accommodation for the last ten years, and this is up there with one of the best we’ve stayed in. Beautiful place, spotlessly clean,quiet location, powerful hot shower, comfy bed, private secure drive. Easy to find and located in a rural yet not isolated part of the country. Quick response from the proprietors. Within easy reach of some beautiful NT properties, and within the grounds of Stowe castle gardens for a walk from the door. Would highly recommend.

This property was an absolute godsend when we had to move out of our house for repairs. It had everything needed for an extended stay, incl a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer which made living out of a suitcase so much easier. It's clear a lot of thought and attention went into the design of the house. It's light, airy and well decorated, although showing some signs of gentle wear and tear now, expected as its a home, not a 5* hotel. Peter was an attentive host. When we moved in, a neighbours fence panel had come down, and we were reluctant to let our dog into the back garden without supervision. Within 24 hours, someone has come round and put up a temporary barrier, and our dog spent a happy month sunbathing in the back garden, whilst we enjoyed BBQs on the patio. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home. Thank you Peter.

Immaculate and peaceful house, beautifully kept and very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the open plan kitchen space and terrace. Everyone was very comfortable - great beds, linen, towels, well equipped kitchen, children’s kitchenware, really everything we could have hoped for. The host was very prompt with replies to a question prior to checkin and we had a wonderful stay. Would love to come back (or just live there permanently!).

We had a wonderful stay at Priya's. She was a kind and responsive host, always quick to reply and happy to help with any questions we had. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Chorleywood Common, which is perfect for a peaceful stroll or some time outdoors, and very convenient for access to the M25. Despite being so well-connected, the home is situated in a quiet and leafy area, making it a restful place to return to. We would happily stay again and highly recommend Priya’s place to anyone visiting the area.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and exceeded expectations. It is decorated to a high standard. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds are both a good size and beds very comfortable. We all slept well. Some people have commented on noise from the road, yes you can hear the traffic but it did not bother us through the night. The garden is enclosed and perfect for eating out in. If you don't want to cook a meal I would recommend the three Crowns just a 5 minute walk up the road. There is also an Indian restaurant a 4 minute walk away. The hosts were very responsive to messages. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

The host is fantastic she helped us with everything from finding a good pub to trying so hard to keep us booking again I would stay here every week there’s work for us up there I really would the house is beautiful beds comfortable as hell kitchens massive showers are pressured I just wish the guy we was working for was more flexible on the price so we could Keep hold this place

We had a great 4 Nights at the Folly’s. Such a lovely place to stay, we travelled down the west side of London with ease, visited Windsor & Henley on Thames. The kitchen is stunning with views of the garden!! Wait until you see the utility room, when you find it !!! My favourite place!! Bedrooms and showers were great, upstairs has a lovely view when you wake up in the morning. Parking outside the property for a couple of large cars. Would definitely recommend saying at Andrea’s property.

The house was absolutely lovely – the perfect getaway for us and a few friends. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Phoebe was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and welcoming, even greeting us when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back!

Folley’s Barn is spacious and very comfortable. A large living and kitchen area with plenty of seating. The hamper was a lovely addition and went down well! We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay and would recommend the barn as a base for exploring the surrounding area. We visited Cliveden, Marlow and Henley on Thames. We also enjoyed a meal at the Lions in Bledlow and a takeaway from the Cinnamon Longe.

Alison was a wonderful host, there to greet us and she had already given us recommendations for the area. She showed us around her house explaining where everything is. The house book has all the instructions in it. The photos of the house do not do it justice, the house is so well designed with superb views. Wildlife watching from the terrace is a must! Every amenity has been thought of and we did not want to leave the house. However on venturing out there are plenty of walks from the house, or Marlow and Bray are not too far away with all of their famous restaurants. An exceptional location with Clivedon not too far away. We will be back, we had a wonderful time and cannot recommend Alison’s house highly enough.

Peter's place fitted what my daughter and I needed for a brief stay and I think the price is reasonable and reflects the fact that its a bit tired. It was very clean apart from the shower which, as others have reported, is pretty limescaley and there are some mould issues as there isn't a fan. It didn't bother us as we were only there for 1 night. The bed is very soft, almost like a water bed! The area is very quiet and we felt safe which is a blessing. Peter is really personable and gave me a slightly later checkout which really helped me out.

We had a wonderful time and my granddaughter loved the play area which was great and full of things for her to do which kept her occupied. The rooms were amazing and the kitchen was a great place for the family to gather and have a chat and catch up. I would definitely recommend this as a great family stay .

A great stay. The property was spotless and well equipped and just a few minutes walk to the local shops and marina, it made an excellent base for commuting to High Wycombe for a sporting event. Communication was great from the start, with easy directions.

The house was very nice and modern. Marlon was responsive and helpful, always answering withing minutes. The location was convenient, as very close to the airport for an early morning flight. We enjoyed our stay.

Was such a beautiful home for a lovely weekend with my girls very clean and comfy and the little touches was adorable especially the welcome treat and the flip flops for hut tub. Easy to communicate with and just a lovely and cosy home. Would highly recommend this place 👌
