Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

The neighborhood is quiet, and although the location is close to downtown, you will only hear nature sounds and mountain tranquility when you sunbathe on the terrace.

There is an elevator up to 1 floor. and one can put the skis in a large private stall in the basement. There is not much view but one can glow down Hemsedal!
