The house has been completely renovated with underfloor heating and an open fireplace. Kirkebakken 4 is an old house, where renovation has been done with respect for the house, therefore there is a difference in level on the ground floor as well as stairs to the 1st floor. The house is located in the heart of Mariager and overlooks the town's beautiful and historic monastery church.

The house sleeps 8-10 people. The house is equipped with fiber broadband and Wi-Fi that covers the entire property. In July and August, check-in is on Saturdays. A 600 meter long gravel road just past the beautiful Udbyover Lake you come to Gildhøj which is an old farm in 1850. Here we offer accommodation and stays for 2 people in our side building. The building, with its thick walls, provides a comfortable indoor climate on hot days. The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, or 2 single beds, and a living room with kitchen facilities, a fridge with a small freezer, and a microwave. There is a private toilet and shower and bed linen and towels are included in the price.
