Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Gulf Islands

The location and outdoor surroundings are superb; so beautiful, private, and peaceful! The place is a little dated and could use some updates, but overall, this was a lovely stay for our group of 6. The hosts communicated very well; everything was clear and organized. Thank you!

We’ve stayed at many airbnbs and this is the best one in terms of the hosts warmth, consideration and responsiveness. We felt at home right away! There were so many thoughtful touches in the home down to last details. We had a welcome note waiting for us on arrival and eggs from Eric’s farm. It’s also a very beautifully designed home. There are skylights in the bedroom so when we woke up felt like we were in the forest. There were many birds chirping outside in the morning even spotted a wood pecker. Also Eric has two adorable dogs that came to welcome us when we got there. My daughter used some of the guide books to plan our hikes- all in all it was an amazing stay. Anything we could possibly need for our stay was in the house including an amazing shower after hikes, binoculars and hiking poles. It was so beautiful we never wanted to leave!!

Fantastic stay and delivered the solitude in nature that I was looking for. It was a great way to experience the San Juans. The view was stunning, the access to the beach was stellar, and one of the best ways to spend a few days relaxing. The loaner vehicle was perfect to get us from dock to house. Reminder, for anyone looking to book this airBNB, please be mindful of what you pack and bring as there is no store to quickly run to if you forgot something. Also, you need to pack out your recyclables & non-compostables. Overall, would stay again and have already recommended it to others as an Eco-friendly vacation destination.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The views were absolutely stunning from every window. The interior was sparkling clean and so thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect, just minutes from Birch Bay State Park for peaceful beach walks. We saw so many great blue herons and bald eagles! Marie was such kind host and always very responsive. Truly such a luxurious experience.

We loved our stay here! It is our new favorite Airbnb and we’ve stayed in many. Honestly we wished we had longer to enjoy it. The setting is stunning and the apartment is beautiful with everything you could need. My husband and I went on some beautiful hikes that were not far from the house. I also have really bad environmental allergies and had no issues at all! It was clean and I also appreciated that even the laundry detergent was allergy-friendly with no strong smells (and also so nice that there was detergent to use). Lisa thought of everything and we plan to return!

Josie was a fantastic host. Flexible, responsive, and helpful in providing local recommendations for an area we were new to. The house and property are beautiful, peaceful, and unique. Can't recommend highly enough!

Stayed here for 2 nights, the place was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed at. The hot tub was probably the cleanest one I’ve seen. We knew about the jets and planes taking off so that wasn’t a big deal. Felt very comfortable and at home

Fantastic time here! Private getaway cabin with a unique outdoor sauna made this place extra special. Comfortable beds, and great space. We plan to come again :)

Beautiful and Pristine place. We were here to celebrate our anniversary and do the bioluminescence tour at port gamble. I would love to come back. The garden is gorgeous, the view is breathtaking. Christine was a wonderful host. We had no issues at all. The kitchen and the bathroom were all well stocked. They have great collection of books as well, for someone who likes reading.

This place was perfect for our stay! The location was great for the National Park and heading to the coast for the day. Grocery and dining close by. The bed was comfortable, and the large bathroom was great. We really only crashed there at night. Not a lot of kitchen space if you wanted to cook but everything you would need was available. It is a second-floor room so you must be able to climb stairs. Rebecca was friendly, generous and available for any questions we might have had.

Cynthia’s house was perfect for us. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. It was quiet and so peaceful there. The molasses cookies that was left for us were delicious and so thoughtful!! We had a 4 hour delay with rental car issues, I messaged Cynthia to let her know it would be very late before we arrived.. she was so understanding and kind and left the light on for us . She responded quickly and gave me several good recommendations for our trip in the area. I would recommend Cynthia’s home to anyone!! And I would definitely stay with Cynthia again.

In a beautiful spot with views over Lake Campbell we felt right at home as a family of 4. The accommodation is spacious and immaculate, with everything we needed. The gardens are manicured and it was relaxing to sit on the patio and take in the view. Gary and Ginny were great hosts, setting a sofa bed before our arrival and great to chat with Gary as we left. My Erie and Deception State Parks are stunning, with plenty of good walks, great views and an ease short drive from the property. A gem of a place from which to explore.

Beautiful property—neat little nook tucked into the hillside. We really enjoyed the gas firepit on the patio! Really lovely place for adults to stay, slightly challenging with an infant because washing bottles is hard in the sink and the shower head is quite high so no ideal way to bathe the baby. Would highly recommend for adults or families with older children though! Property was gorgeous and the space very comfortable and romantic feeling. Hosts were very accommodating and set up a pack and play for us and were responsive and helpful when needed. We saw so much wildlife on the property it was very peaceful. Thanks! Hope to return!

Really liked my stay, host always responded and checked in, nice apartment very clean. Wish location was closer to shops and food ect, too many homeless people close to the location so weary of that but besides that I enjoyed my stay nice stay for 1-3 days. Clear instructions when checking in and out. I would give it 4.5/5 very enjoyable

Great location, within walking distance to tons of restaurants on Main Street and to Riley Park (multiple playgrounds), Nat Bailey Stadium and Hillcrest Aquatic Centre (swimming pool is under maintenance until end of June 2025). Space was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a Pack n Play available. Anthony and Leatt are great hosts, very responsive and go above and beyond to help. Leatt provided a list of kid-friendly restaurants to visit while we are in town. I was also offered allergy medication after they learned that I was having severe allergy symptoms.

This waterfront inner bay location is an ever changing view of tidal events, birds, and a beautiful garden. Every hour of the day had something different to observe and enjoy. Faces east for moonrise and sunrise views. A lovely setting, kind hosts, and close enough to Edison for dining, art galleries, and a small village stroll. Plus the king bed was incredibly comfortable so sleep was a dream. Recommend adding a visit to Bow Sanctuary sauna and sessions to add a wellness experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Douglas and Kate’s cottage. They were super friendly, provided great recs, and gave us firewood for the campfire!

We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the breathtaking views. Julie and Peter have a wonderful vacation spot with everything we needed. Such a thrill watching and listening to the waves crashing into the shoreline. We would highly recommend their clean and comfortable home, and hope to visit again someday!

We spent two nights at Shannon’s place and had a wonderful experience. The property looked exactly like the photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time—playing games, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. Shannon was very responsive. On the morning of our check-in, I reached out to let her know about a small change in our plans—we needed a crib and high chair. She replied right away and assured us it was no problem. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked—far beyond our expectations. There were plenty of spices, foil, Ziploc bags, etc…

We had a lovely stay in the tree house. It's truly unique and a cozy, comfortable, place to stay surrounded by natural beauty. We enjoyed visiting the local farmers market and exploring East Sooke Regoinal Park. I hope to go back!

Our stay at Discovery Bay Lookout was an absolute dream—one of our favorite Airbnbs to date, and we travel often! The location is perfect if you’re looking to reconnect with nature. It felt secluded and peaceful, yet was just a short drive to groceries and restaurants. The cabin is magical—beautifully designed, warm, and thoughtfully organized. We loved cooking in the kitchen, reading in cozy nooks, and soaking in the hot tub and sauna while taking in the views. We traveled with two small kids, and Virginia went above and beyond by providing a high chair, toddler dishes, and so many thoughtful touches throughout. Her hospitality truly set this stay apart. We left feeling inspired and dreaming of owning a place like this one day. Until then, we hope to return. Don’t hesitate to book—just be sure to take great care of this special place so others can enjoy it too.

We had a fabulous 4 day stay with perfect weather! We loved the access to the sea, the views from the balcony especially at sun set, the peaceful location and the hot tube. Rhys and Joanne were perfect hosts- very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to the Sunshine Coast which we loved and feel so happy we found the cabin and its perfect location! Thank you
