Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gulf Islands

Beautiful space and area overlooking the ocean, awesome having our own beach, and use of kayaks etc. Sleeps 6 comfortably but the hidabed in living room for 2 more guests very uncomfortable, needs a foamy on top of the springs! Loved the sunroom and games box, lots of different sitting areas❣️

We have stayed at this place a few times now and always enjoy our visit. It’s perfect for a big group, has a well stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace and a wonderful hot tub with views of the beautiful yard. Will be back next year!

We very much enjoyed the house and the view we could see from the windows! There were many kitchen tools so we could cook and eat, plenty of games for us to play, and tools for babies were there. Thank you!!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Great location, close to a beach for walking, and easy drive to restaurants and areas for wonderful walks. Lovely garden and outside area to sit. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook simple meals. A perfect place for a get away.

We were so happy when we drove up to Autumn's place. The surroundings are beautiful, and the location quiet and private. The home was spacious, the rooms perfect for our stay, the furniture comfortable (we loved the rocking chair!), the bedding was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved watching the deer every morning and enjoyed all of the birds. We also loved being close to Moran State Park and Obstruction Pass Park. We didn't mind driving to town for supplemental grocery shopping - the Coop and town market are both very nice. We would love to stay here again and will certainly recommend it!

This place has a million dollar view! I could gaze out the back all day! The hot tub was great. Kitchen extremely well supplied. And we enjoyed a fire one night in the fire pit! Very close to the National Park and plenty of dining options in Port Angeles only 15 minutes away. Host very responsive. Would stay here again for sure!

This was our first time in Sooke and we shared Fredrick’s place with a friend we hadn’t seen in years. The warm home like environment, the separate bedroom ,bathroom spaces worked perfectly. The views were wonderful and we dined and explored the area easily. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Stayed here while visiting Squamish. Very easy to locate with allocated parking. Entry was separate and easy to use. I felt comfortable and at home here.

Close to town, super clean, beautiful views -- a perfect retreat for the two of us.

Our hosts were very responsive when we communicated. The home had very comfortable beds and it was kept clean. Nice fenced yard for our dog and a walking area at back of house, accessible by gate. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The location of this rental was even more beautiful in person, than in the photos. On a 25 acre farm, it had water and mountain views and was peaceful and relaxing, while at the same time only a short drive from amenities (restaurant, coffee shop, grocery). The rental was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Trish and her husband were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Our dog also thoroughly enjoyed her visit, and especially the two resident Goldens! It's a great place to relax and disconnect, we used the wood fireplace which was real nice touch. Highly recommend we would definitely return.

Virpi and her husband were amazing hosts. We needed an animal friendly space for our family and cats while relocating to Tsawwassen, and finding their rental was perfect. Everything was as promised in the listing and our cats appreciated having a whole space to themselves instead of being placed in a kennel for the week we needed accommodations. The hosts were very friendly, stopping to chat when they noticed us coming home with our toddler. Overall amazing experience and really appreciate the pet friendly nature of their rental!

My husband and I stayed here for a few days to explore the area for our anniversary. The location was ideal for what we wanted, peaceful and private but close to everything. The rental had everything you could think of and more. I particularly loved the view... you have garden shrubs and birds and a variety of plants right outside your window, and just above the privacy hedge a gorgeous view of the town and the landscape. I have to mention The Donut House has the BEST donuts.

Billie’s place was the perfect spot for a trip to Salt Spring Island. Really appreciated the welcome, orientation of the suite and local recommendations. I’d love to stay again and will definitely recommend!

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. If you are fortunate enough to book Donald’s property, you will not be disappointed. My sister and I booked this unit and were so happy that we did. The property houses many more people, but it was also great for just the two of us. We both had our own bedroom and bathroom. So nice. The location is awesome. We walked on the beach and just relaxed. The pool and hot tub were great. This is a beautiful place and we will definitely be back hopefully. Thanks to Donald and his cleaning lady. Cheers Sandra

We loved the cottage. Great location, comfy beds, everything we needed. The only thing we would say is that the photos don’t do it justice. It’s much nicer in real life (which is always a bonus!) Judy the host made everything very easy.
