Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gudbrandsdalen

Beautiful hose, super host

I stayed one night with my wife and 11-year-old son in Gry's house. Very nice and very large house...a little cold upon arrival but the ground floor with living room and kitchen immediately heated up with wood-burning stoves. The bedrooms upstairs were a little cool, but with the blankets provided, we had no trouble sleeping. Gry was always very kind and would have allowed us, in case of need, to stay even after checkout time... Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the opportunity to take a boat ride on the river due to bad weather. Recommended!! Thank you Gry, from Giacomo, Alessia and Marco.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

This was our second time visiting Moon Valley Lodge and it was such a pleasure to come back! After we enjoyed ourselves so much last year, it was an easy choice to put this year's team-building gathering here again. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped – perfect for both work and relaxation. Ida, our host, was as accommodating and helpful as last time, and made sure that everything went smoothly. The beautiful location and peaceful surroundings provide a wonderful setting for both creativity and tranquility. Ending the evenings in the warm stomp, looking up to the starry sky, was an experience we can really recommend! We highly recommend Moon Valley Lodge and look forward to returning again!

Tina's home had everything a family of four needs for a pleasant stay at Lillehammer. The house was clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed themselves in the garden and played in the local kindergarten in the afternoons. Walking distance to large Kiwi shop, and only 2 km to Lillehammer city center. Highly recommend renting from Tina, and is happy to rent from her again on the next occasion.

Our stay with Jeroen was excellent from start to finish. The communication is friendly and Jeroen already gives many useful tips, both for arrival, stay and then also for departure. Check-in is straightforward, all necessary information is already provided via AirBnB, even for check-out. Jeroen answers additional questions in a timely manner. The location of the cabin is fantastic... in the middle of nature with mountain views. Although the cabin is located just outside the city center, the drive to shop by car is close (10 min). It is 15 minutes to the center. The cabin is very clean and incredibly cozy. We were there in winter and enjoyed heating the fireplace in the evening. The amenities are also complete. We didn't miss anything. Dear Inge, dear Jeroen, Thank you so much for the possibility of accommodation with you. We had a fantastic holiday!

We had a great weekend at Ellen's house. The house was cozy and met expectations. Idyllic space and cozy host. Recommended!

This was the second year (winter holiday) we have spent in Andre and Tamara's apartment. Again, the apartment-perfect, practical and very well equipped; and all the amenities in the immediate vicinity. Andre and Tamara are quick to respond, and very accommodating!! We'll definitely be back 👌😊

A wonderful apartment in a beautiful location. Equipped with everything you need and more. Clean, warm and a fabulous shower. Anne and Clarence’s instructions and information were clear, concise and detailed. They also made sure to communicate during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Definitely on the small list of places i would stay at again. Highly recommend.

Clean and tidy, well functioning apartment with great views of the valley and Kvitfjell. Great to get to made beds and we got extra wood when we burned in the fireplace that we think is cozy.

We loved our time at this lovely, cozy place. It was simply beautiful... the sunset skies were "to die for", the location was close to the main part of Sjusjoen, and we could nordic ski almost right from our place! Thank you for having us... we'd love to come back. -Marcy V

Everything is exactly as shown on the pictures and described. Comfortable and cosy apartment only 10 min by car to the slopes of Hemsedal. Very good simple check in. Highly recommended.

Absolutely as stunning as depicted in the pictures! Breathtaking.

We enjoyed our stay at Gunhild's place. The house is homely and can accommodate up to 6 people. Certain parts of house are older (e.g. bedroom), other parts of house are newly renovated (e.g. kitchen, bathroom). Everything was very clean and we lacked nothing! Thanks to the wood-burning stove, a cozy warmth emerged in the living room and enjoyed the bright and light-flooded rooms. The accommodation is located in a pleasant (quiet) neighborhood with pretty views, old town and lake are also within walking distance (about 20 min). Gundhild is a wonderful hostess and has lovingly taken care of us and our wishes. Communication, as well as check-in and check-out were very straightforward. Thank you for everything!

Our extended family of 18 people (9 adults and 9 children) had a memorable Christmas celebration here this year! Soft snow (finished snow), a lovely Christmas ornate house and beautiful Christmas lighting created Christmas spirit! Everything was perfect indoors with wifi and 2 large TVs where youthful three lives. Well equipped kitchen. Table space for everyone and OK seating groups. Good with toilet/bathroom. All in all a perfect place for us. Recommendest!

Large, bright and well furnished house in an ideal environment. The property had everything you needed. We really enjoyed living so quiet and rural and at the same time being so central to Hamar. Øyvind is very nice, always quickly accessible and has given good tips for activities. We had a great vacation and would be happy to come back.
