You will arrive to ready-made beds, as well as towels. I'll take care of the house cleaning when you check out. But remember to wash the dishes. The cabin consists of a living room/kitchen with sofa bed (140 cm) as well as a large bedroom with a continental bed (180 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm). Viken Fjellgård is located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, an hour's drive from Lillehammer. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, something hot to drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a snowshoe hike, ice fishing, burn a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, then this can be the place. Walking distance to the river Lågen, for swimming and fishing, walking trails, and short distance to the Øyer mountains known for the many cross country ski tracks in the winter, and mountain bike and hiking trails in the summer.

Østerdalsstue at Kvebergshaugen

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dogs, next to the house where we live. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city center, and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored Österdal house from the 19th century, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, coffee press and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of NOK 300 only covers preparation of rental unit and not final cleaning.
