The cabin is located at Viken Fjellgård, an hour from Lillehammer, right by the idyllic Espedalsvatnet, 720 metres above sea level, and Langsua National Park. Here you can find peace and quiet, swim, paddle, visit mines, or go for walks. It is a short distance to the high mountains with many hiking opportunities, or you can walk from the farm along the water, on paths in the woods and fields. There is a cosy outdoor area with a fire pit on the jetty by the boathouse, and there is a swimming beach on the other side. Our guests can use our two boats and canoe freely, and we lend out two fishing rods.

The farm Strandheim is located 532 meters above sea level in Kjøremsgrende, in the very south of the mountain village Lesja. The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. The river Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås, among others.
