The houses in the park are both permanently occupied and rented out for holidays. You can go hiking, cycling and mountain biking to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Sheltered under a wooden wall, you can look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and the beautiful garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or other crops. The log cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room, and can be heated with a wood-burning stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

You can take beautiful walks from the cottage, e.g. the eight of Amen or to the Balloërveld near Rolde.
