Holiday rentals with lake access in Groningen

What a wonderful place! A hidden gem. The house has everything you need. The washer and dryer (in the shed) are great to have. The backyard with deck and dock is more than beautiful. We rented bikes at Oomkens Bike Shop, great service, great bikes (20 minutes walk from the house). The houses are behind a locked gate (need a code to get in), that adds to extra feeling of safety. We felt totally spoiled staying there. We will definitely come again!

We, 2 adults & 2 boys aged 7 and 11 years felt right at home in the accommodation. It was super clean and lovingly furnished. Everything we needed was there. Both the terrace at the house and the terrace by the water invite you to spend wonderfully cozy hours. In the park itself, the children were able to ride their scooters, jump on the trampoline, swim in the indoor swimming pool or pedal boat. Janna and Christof are great hosts who respond immediately and were friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times.

We‘ve stayed a week there and really felt home. The place is directly at the lake. The neighborhood is peaceful. The house was well equipped. The fire place made it super cozy. We did not get lucky to catch any fish. Maybe next time! Definitely recommendable.

Beautiful and quiet place. The cats are also very friendly and easy going. The view over the water is amazing and the house feels cozy and cozy. Definitely recommended.

Four of us (2 adults plus 2 small children) spent a week in Tamara's house. It is very spacious and furnished to a high standard. Plus, there's everything you need. Our children were particularly enthusiastic about the many toys and the big trampoline in the garden. The immediate surroundings are great for running or cycling. A really special place with great amenities, which we would 100% recommend. You should be aware that as a guest you have to take over the final cleaning of the entire house (including washing of towels etc. ) yourself.

Perfect place to stay! Spotlessly clean, super equipped and ideally located. The host was very friendly and helpful – we will be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

This is a must stay. Quiet, peaceful and a great place to getaway. Everything you need is there. Gerrt is an amazing host. Very thoughtful. Always responded quickly and gave my husband and I, great ideas for a day in Assen.

To our lovely host Diet. She was excellent and very responsive. At the beginning it was little confusing about getting there but when we arrived it was very easy to find. It was excellent and peaceful for our family stay. We were aloud to use bikes so that helped us a lot for good shopping. Canoe rides were excellent. I think we cannot picked better spot for us. Neighbours were super friendly and welcomed us with smiles and fantastic attitude. We will for sure come back. 😊 Diet- thank you for having us 😊

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. We had a great time at Regina's house, they were very hospitable with us, the cute kitten the day we were going to say hello to us as tender and respectful as we were. We went in late autumn and clearly the trees did not have their leaves but that did not prevent us from sinking in the middle of nature and also feeling the privacy that the house gives you. The bed upstairs is a little uncomfortable for the person who goes to the left but it is only a moment to sleep, with everything else the house provides you quickly forget the bed. We would love to come back in the spring or summer!

We had a wonderful few days at this great place. The decor is color selection is really great, the hot tub and the various outdoor seating is a real highlight. The entire garden area is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Wilko responded thoughtfully and quickly to requests. Only the beds have been a little too soft for our taste, which does not stop us from visiting this house again!

A beautiful temporary home away from home! We were lucky enough to spend Christmas in Dina's tiny house. It was even more beautiful than expected, completely quiet and private....but with all the amenities we wanted. The sauna was a dream, especially in the cold, wet weather. Dina is a very likeable host and we were very happy to have decided on Ellertshaar. For us, one of the most beautiful Christmas we had. Dear Diana, Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back!

What an incredibly nice and lovely cottage, in the middle of the forest and at a window. Everything was present and clean. Furniture is slightly different than in the photo, but certainly no less bad. Beds are fine, we slept wonderfully! Terrace outside is also really nice, nice in the sun. Surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Plenty to see and do. It's a bit of a search which small path to park, but the description clearly indicates that. Owners are friendly and quick to respond. Top!

We had very nice days at Niels's place and could relax well. Niels was an amazing host who was easily accessible. He brought us a barbecue because we had asked if we could grill there. Overall, the amenities were very good. The location of the accommodation is great, in firm weather you have sun all day. By bike, you can ride quickly from there to Groningen or into nature. We would recommend the place and will definitely be back.
