But you can also use my house to work quietly in an inspiring location in the middle of nature. At night, the entire forest garden is beautifully and subtly lit. In short, a super nice place where you are immediately overwhelmed by peace and natural beauty.

Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

The Barn is a luxurious guesthouse at the back of the farm with us on the property, wonderfully quiet location outside the village. Fully furnished with kitchen, bathroom, living room and 2 bedrooms. 1 on the loft and 1 separate bedroom both with a large 2-person bed. The loft has a headroom of 165 cm. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

There are also bicycles at your disposal to discover the surroundings and to cycle around the Oldambtermeer, and over the largest bicycle bridge in Europe you cycle to Winschoten to shop or have a bite to eat or lunch! You can also fish or rent a boat in the marina in Beerta or Midwolda, plenty to do 🙏

Our new yurt (Mimosa) is standing. It has a beautiful forest green canvas and handpainted orange decorated inside. Wonderfully cozy and colorfully furnished with a large double bed, a bunk bed and 1 or 2 single beds. It can host 6 people. It has a little sitting area inside and wood stove! Closed by are the compost toilets and the big outdoor kitchen. Just on the other side is the Oase the showers and toilet area.

Relax in the cosy garden or opt for an extra moment of relaxation: a wood-fired sauna and biodiesel-fired hot tub. The chalet is located on the edge of the beautiful Drents-Friese Wold, where you can walk into the forest. The estate also has a restaurant, indoor swimming pool and playroom for the children.
