The spacious living room with spacious Chesterfield sofa overlooks the Winsumerdiep. Onderdendam is a beautiful village 12 km from the city of Groningen and has a protected village view. Our 2-person Canadian canoe and our 3 bicycles are available for rent at a reasonable price.

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Gastenverblijf ‘De Kraanvogel’ De sfeervolle blokhut is te vinden op het erf van een woonboerderij en beschikt over een eigen oprit. Beschut onder een houtwal kijkt u richting het Fochtelooërveen en in de prachtig onderhouden tuin. Gedurende de zomer kan het uitzicht belemmerd worden door de groei van mais of een ander gewas. De blokhut bevat een slaap-, bad- en woonkamer en het geheel kan met een houtkachel verwarmd worden. U kunt zelf uw kopje koffie of thee zetten in de blokhut.

The cottage is in the middle of the nature reserve "Ae's Woudbloem" and you can find a lot of beautiful bike/hiking trips. Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

You will spend the night in a cozy guesthouse with a bathroom and kitchenette including fridge and induction hobs. The silence and the wonderful bed will help you start a new day well rested. You may use our large nature garden behind the house. It's lovely to sit by the pond with the storks in the background.

Ideal location for peace seekers, cyclists and hikers who want to enjoy the forests and heathlands of Bakkeveen.

This beautiful cottage is equipped with everything so you can fully enjoy all that beautiful Groningen has to offer! After our driveway of about 800m, you are assured of fresh air.
